Congrats Germany, clearly the best in the tournament. Was really a close game that could have gone either way. I suspect Messi will be heavily criticized which he should, hopefully he comes back fully fit back to Barca.

Great WC, and wonderful strike to win it. Germany was the class of the tournament followed by the Netherlands, than Argentina, IMO. The rest were sort of mixed in there, and based upon draws made it further, really dissappointed in Brazil they need more than Neymar...to get back. And how can you not take Tevez? DD
Totally agree, I wish the WC was every 2 years. We don't have a European Championship type of deal to look forward too, maybe if we created a true Americas championship where North, Central and South all played for a trophy every couple of years..... That would be AWESOME. Watching the Seattle game right now with Yedlin and Duece and seeing 50k in the stands makes me happy that finally soccer is accepted in the USA. That alone was worth it. DD
