    Glad that didn't happen. I didn't want to face Brazil, at all. van Marwijk (coach at 2010) was saying how he thinks that there's no way FIFA will let the host get knocked out of the tournament at this stage. So you basically have to be 3 or 4x better than them on the pitch to be able to beat them. Good luck to Chile, hope they manage it.

    Otherwise, Mexico actually look very very solid. It's going to be a tough match, but at least I don't have to think about FIFA conspiracies, lol.

    I'm never quite sure what to think about corruption, but I guess as a Dutchman and knowing the background to 1978 makes you suspicious, ha.

    USMNT would've advanced already if they had played a full 95 minutes instead of 94:30. Still can't believe that.

    You play to WIN. That proves you're better than the other team. USA was definitely better than Panamá and if they do this "tie" thing to help put Portugal out, that loses them respect.

    Mexico earned enough points to be there. They beat PANAMA. Come on, man. You're making this out to be WORSE than anything. YOU PLAY TO WIN.

    Now go and BEAT Germany, since you could beat the team that tied with them. :eek:
