Still have 100 games in your queue, untouched? Doesn't matter. Broke and can't pay for your baby's milk? Doesn't matter. Time to blow your wad. What games are you looking for? For sure I want to get that South Park game. Looked fun but I didn't want to pay $60 for it.
yeah i'd pick up x-com. Can get the base game for 7.50, or the game with all DLC for 16.50. also have the old school x-coms for 2.50 a pop or cheaper if you get that bundle too.
Steam sale is only amazing when its your first or second one you've experienced. After 5-6 its just a rehashing of old sales.
The Stanley Parable is on sale for the next two days. You can get it for just $6. I can't recommend any game more highly. http://store.steampowered.com/app/221910/ Despite the fact that there are only about three or four hours of content, The Stanley Parable is one of my very favorite games ever, because it's a game that humorously but ruthlessly exposes the limitations of video games themselves. It's a game about games. And it's something that I really think anyone and everyone who considers himself/herself a gamer should experience. You'll never look at games the same way again.
Found on Slickdeals and reddit Amazon has Age of Empires 2 HD + The Forgotten DLC for $2.50! They list it as only the DLC, but I just bought it and can confirm that it includes the base game + DLC steam code. By the way, steam has both for $7.49 right now
Cool, hopefully you'll love it as much as I did. Gotta be one of the craziest games ever made, I don't know of anything else even remotely like it.
I strongly recommend you guys taking a look at Guns of Icarus on Steam. It's a steampunk airship team game, and it's got good depth and the games don't take very long, especially if there is a good ship captain who knows what he is doing. I have been enjoying it a lot, and if it's on sale, it's a great value.
Don't worry. All sales during encore day (last day of sale) are discounted at whatever the highest discount for that game was during the sale.
Far Cry 3 is a great game. Didn't know what to expect when I bought it but was excellently surprised. I also just bought the two-player pack for 7 Days To Die so I can play with my son. It's a first person zombie survival game in the vein of Minecraft and Terraria where you have to mine stuff and craft it. I bought it mainly because I've been buying any game that supports Oculus Rift. It's only in Alpha but we played it for the first time tonight and had a ton of fun.
