Richard Hidalgo. Hidalgo started bulking up and it cost him bat speed. I hope Springer knows what he's doing.

Correa hit a homer and a double in todays inter-squad scrimmage.. Stassi knocked one out as well.

 

Is he insinuating that he has lied about his age or just that he is much more developed than typical 19 year olds?

 

Not sure, but I saw some video of him on the news fielding grounders and the guy is right...he doesn't look 19 physically. Tall, thick, broad shoulders... However when he was interviewed, his facial features still look 19.

I'm sure it is just a comment about his size. He has the face of a kid.

 

I didn't track some of the prospect stuff as closely as others leading up to last years draft. Were there any real concerns that Correa might be older than listed?

 

No.

Also, he's from Puerto Rico... not DR, Venezuela, or even Cuba. Big difference when it comes to "record falsification".
