Lakers wouldn't be able to play together. We saw that last year.

The worst chemistry guy on either of those teams is Deron Williams

No he isn't. Deron Williams isn't anywhere close to Kobe level. Plus, on a team with Kevin Garnett and Paul Pierce and Jason Terry, Deron Williams is gonna be quiet.

The problem for the Lakers last year was primarily chemistry, not age. I don't see how some guys being younger is going to fix that. I'll take the Nets.

Nash Prime >>> D Will Prime
Kobe Prime >> Johnson + Terry Primes
Ron Artest Prime<<< Paul Pierce + AK Primes
    Pau+ Jamison Primes<< KG Prime
Dwight Howard Prime >> Brook Lopez Prime

    I'd say Lakers

One game? Lakers. Top heavy talent where all their starters can basically play 40+ minutes will be a huge edge. Best of 7? Nets if they play to their strengths. They can really play physical and really wear the Lakers down over the course of a series.

One issue to note is that Nash is a horrible fit on this Lakers team, because it's not made to run.

Im sorry but we seen a semi preview of this. Bos vs LaL

Garnett would punk Gasol. Pierce would go neck and neck Kobe, toss up between Deron and Nash. Joe Johnson and Ron Ron, Ill give Ron the edge for sure but you have Jason Terry killing it off the bench along with Kirilenko, Reggie Evans with infinite hustles banging in the middle.
Dwight has the edge over Brook but how big would that edge be? Lopez has some good offensive production, he's no slouch.

Its more than about the great starting 5 matchups, the Nets would be an onslaught of great players 10-12 deep.

I question Kobe ability to seal the deal, b/c he has a tendency to tighten up when needed most. He is the closest to Jordan but Ron would be there to finish for like Game 7 if need be.

I lean with NJ but fun debate though.
