Not his fault for his crappy play here. He was given the green-light to try to be a primary offensive option. He isn't. What he is and always has been is a good man-defender due to his length and athleticism who can hit open threes off of catch-n-shoot situations.

I have no hard feelings for Ariza. He didn't work out and we moved him quickly. I think he would've been good for us if he played with a healthy Yao our our team as currently assembled.

    I agree, lesson learned.

Not a number one, good role player.

    ...

Good to see him playing well for Washington.

Carmelo isn't enough for the Bulls to be contenders if Rose isn't 100%. If you're Melo why would you take that risk when Houston is available to you?

Ariza comes through once again in the playoffs. He's done it for the Lakers, New Orleans, and now Washington. Lol @ people thinking that Courtney Lee was better than this guy. I'm looking at you larsv8. Too bad Maury burned that bridge using his "asset" approach.

Carmelo alone + that Bulls D = automatic ECF berth.

He cost too much to keep for where we were as a franchise. You dont pay role players $5+ million a season unless you have your franchise guy in place. We didn't keep courtney lee either, another good role player who wouldve hindered our cap room.

I wonder what his market value will be this off-season. He's better than your typical 3 and D guy with the bonus of being long and athletic enough to finish in traffic at the rim. He's not a playmaker at all but someone you can put on an island to defend an elite wing. He's only 28 and hasnt had any major injury I can remember so he should be valuable throught the term of his next contract.

He's valuable on a playoff team but he wont necessarily move the needle for a bad team. I think Washington resigns him in hopes to maintain their current modest success in hopes that Wall and Beal continue to progress.

If eyes were focused on the NBA, they'd all be on the Sterling situation. Gooden knows that = free to say what he wants.

    Nene is a bad man.

He just palmed the ball from the floor while going for a 50-50 against Snell.
