I want the Spurs to win just so Pop, Manu, and Duncan will retire, therefore finally making the Spurs mortal (maybe. They'll probably still win 60+ games a year)...

So the Spurs are too perfect that they never cheat? Check out the moving screens the Spurs get away with. Oh yeah Manu never flops.

Sure. I was just responding to why it's perfectly defensible to think San Antonio should have won that series. There are plenty of variables in both directions, of course.

The one area I disagree with you is on Wade's health. I don't buy for one second that he's in appreciably different shape than a year ago... that knee is degenerative. Just a matter of luck of the draw and if he has any flare-ups during the Finals.

He needed injections to just play in some games last year. While he will never be who he once was, he is definitely healthier this year than last.

Who gives a **** what SA fans do? If you like the team, you can root for them, period. I always root for certain teams in the Finals regardless of my Rockets fanaticism.

What's all this talk about 'redemption' for the spurs? What happened last year in the finals?

To every Rockets fan cheering for SA....
You hate MIA more than you love the Rockets.

Not saying you're wrong, just saying what it is.

    Of course not

Think I know where you going with your question. ;)

I don't think that's fair to make the comparison. I love the Rockets, but you have to respect a team that seems to be ageless.

Don't use superlatives and downplay our fanbase and our love for our team.

We like the underdogs. It's a Texas team. I think rooting for the Spurs is fine, but I still believe if we played them this year, we could've beaten them.

Heat have too much talent, and almost as much experience.

There is no game on tonight! What am I going to do?! And there is no game on for several nights!!!! I am in withdrawals. I need a game, and I need it now. Baseball? No way, I am not that desperate. How long before NFL camp starts?

Wow, I've discovered something more annoying than a Ginobli flop, Lerbon's headband, and Karla Malone's face all combined: a fellow fan telling other fans they aren't real fans if they don't root a specific way once the Rocks are eliminated.

I rarely use this, but it's warranted:

We're united in cheering for the Rockets. Period. Of course we'd like everyone else to lose. But just shut the hell up beyond that, and root however you want to root. Thank you.

I'm rooting that all 12 players on both teams getting tossed every game and we have an asterisk year with no champion, so when the Rockets win next year, it counts as 2.

I respect the Spurs no doubt, just want them to lose. There's too many SA fans in Houston and their winning only adds more fuel to the fire... not just SA-HOU, but TD/Dream too.

    Besides, Spurs aren't the underdog.
    Off with their heads.. lol.

btw- I am the Rockets fanbase

Well you're a Pacers fan so it would be odd if you were rooting for the Heat.

How did they cheat? I don't understand how they are accused of cheating, if having the best player in the world is cheating then I hope the Rockets become cheaters too.
