    Well, including JUCO.

    WR Dhaquille Williams
    LB Tre Williams
    RB Roc Thomas
OL Braden Smith (on some website. Can't remember which one. Might have changed though)

Either way...filled needs very well and return a lot of players. Very happy with the class, but Rashaan to Bama stings.

What's your favorite recruiting website to use?

Used to be Rivals, but they've regressed I think. Now I find 247 to be the best one, in my opinion. They pump out a lot more information and inside info without having to pay than the other sites.

You do realize every single 5 star recruit that Nick Saban has had come thru Alabama has been a 1st round draft pick... sure he lost a few games this year but he has not had any guys turn out as bust, like Mack did. Mack has had multiple 5 star recruits fail to live up to the hype.

Charlie Strong doesn't have Texas high school coaching ties. That was a drawback of hiring him. Should have tried harder to land Briles, in my opinion.

Loving Baylor's recruiting class, we have the best WR class in the nation with KD Cannon(#2-#4 WR, depends on what site) and Davion Hall(#3-#5 ATH/WR) leading it.

He didn't realize it because it's not true and its very easy to smell this kind of BS miles away.

I don't really have a dog in this fight, but I just pulled up the 2009 class at random - the second name on there is Nico Johnson - 5 stars

    http://sports.yahoo.com/ncaa/football/recruiting/commitments/2009/Alabama-73

He was not drafted in the first round, he was a 4th round pick - quite an accomplishment and nothing to laugh at - but your claim is still obviously false.

I just flipped it bakc a year to 2008 -

    http://sports.yahoo.com/ncaa/football/recruiting/commitments/2008/Alabama-73

Five star jewels of the class:

Burton Scott - he ended up transferring to the University of South Alabama, no NFL experience - Bust

Tyler Love - another bust, looks like he didn't even start his senior season.

I'm not saying anything about Saban, just stop peddling bogusnessitude.

He stole the quote/info he used from today's noon edition of Sportscenter. I went home for lunch and heard the same thing. He probably missed some context or ESPN was wrong.

relevance is the least of the problems with that statement.

    Agreed.

I don't see us breaking the top 10 next year. By the time the year is over most of the recruits will be committed. I can see a good one in 2016. All depends how next year goes. They will also need time to build trust with the high school coaches.

Strong pulling scholarships from players that Mack recruited is not going over well with a lot of Texas HS coaches. My bosses brother in law in a big time HS football coach and that's the word going around.

Would probably be different if he wasn't a Texas outsider.

Not every 5 star pans out. Most do, but not all. But you also have to look at the flip side. Mark Ingram was a 3 star and he won the Heisman.

It's all about coaching, player effort, and the system.

This is one of the best classes that I have ever seen on paper. I can't wait for next year.
