Pretty impressive, will probably eventually move to OF. That would be my guess..

I'm still all about Rodon, the safer pick & will be a dominate no.1 IMO

I like the idea of going college guys early for the next couple years.

I think it's still Rodon. Wasn't quite as sharp last year, but still dominated.

i'm the last person to be a grammar policeman, but since it's been incorrectly used twice in the past 5 posts:

the adjective y'all are looking for is "dominant", not the verb "dominate".

once again, not doing this to be a jerk, just trying to be helpful. there was a thread a couple years ago that i made the same comment in (the only time i've ever considered correcting grammar), because i had somehow heard or seen people incorrectly using the word like 5 times within a week, and was wondering if i was the one who didn't know the proper usage of the word.

My bad, I'm sure everyone got the point though.

If not, my apologies..I expect Rodon to be dominant next year with Nc. St & the rest of his career.

I appreciate it. Not quite sure why I made that error... but thanks. On that note, I actually appreciate a correction if it is redundant. I'd rather make good habits than bad ones.

The competitive balance lottery is today. Houston, despite their attendance woes, is not one of the 14 teams eligible for the picks.

I'd love to see the revenue numbers.

Edit: Forbes had us at 9th least, which would have gotten us into the lottery.

Not this year. Tigers received revenue sharing money last year, but apparently not this year.

I was probably looking at last years numbers then. But still, they have been over $100 million in pay since 2007. That is just stupid that they would be in the conversation. Hasn't STL received some of these picks in the past too?

Eight game lead on the Brewers and 2.5 game lead on the Marlins for #1 pick. Now that Braun is gone the Brewers might totally tank. Ugh.

Actually, the Cubs are closer than the Brewers at 7 GB (from the worst record). I didn't realize such a gap had developed after the Stros and Marlins.

The Run DIFF still suggests the Stros are the easy favorite at -155 to the Marlins -98. Still, 2.5 games (3 in the loss column) isn't much.

Oooops, saw Chicago and assumed the Cubs. Its actually the Chicago Sox that are 7 GB.
