Expect the Dynamo to make changes and release some players on their roster if they keep getting poor results. And if Dominic Kinnear doesn't make any adjustments to turn-around this season, he could be in the hot seat. I think Kinnear may lose his head coaching job if the team does not make the playoffs this year and next year.
^ Unlikely I don't think there is any scenario where Dom loses his job, nor should he. And they. Aren't releasing anyone. They are still in the playoffs and only 2 potential wins out of first place. It's time for this team to spend some real money. Dom has made chicken salad out if chicken **** for a long time
Looking forward to attending tonight's game. Haven't been in a couple seasons. Would be great to get some momentum back before going into the break.
The injuries and World Cup player call-ups are really hurting the Dynamo. Last 4 games including tonight, they were outscored 10-0. This team should at least be competitive and make their games respectable. I mean, are you kidding me? The Dynamo can't even score a goal when they have a one-man advantage. And now these "fans" making comments on the team's facebook page are calling to fire coach Kinnear. Wtf? smh The Dynamo relies heavily on Brad Davis, Boniek Garcia, and Ricardo Clark. Without them, they are a slow, below-average team.
That was ugly tonigh. Eric Bruner might be the worst player in the MLS. Tyler dericious looks crazy in goal. I've never seen a goalie running around as much as he did. This team needs their playmakers back but even with them returning, they have no center back and they are gonna be killed until they find one
I've never seen that Bruner dude play, but MY GOD he was TERRIBLE!! Seriously one of the worst performances I've seen in my life! lol. This team lacks a creative midfielder, it lacks a goal-scoring presence, it lacks defenders, it lacks a lot of things.
Nah man. Dom may have made chicken salad out of chicken **** but Dom has also been complicit in the signing of various bad foreign players as well as the reticence to take on some good foreign players from countries he has little knowledge or relationship with. He obviously likes to go into the UK well and for now he's done ok with Driver and Barnes. He got lucky with Boniek and so decided to go again but so far Lopez hasn't worked out. Either way you're right, there is NO scenario he loses his job. I think prior to the season I spoke dismissively about Horst and how he is really just an MLS backup. Horst is decent, Brunner is turrible and tbh he should be playing in the USL/NASL whichever one. The MLS is not his level, not even as a backup.
My biggest issue is the continued horrid play by Bruin. He was ducking out of changes all night. He didn't win one 50/50, was constantly out of position, and just looks completely lost. I'm not sure why Dom won't pull him from games. Cummings was at least threatening and showing for the ball. Yes, Garcia and Davis are immensely important to this team, but there are a lot of teams that have lost their best to the World Cup and have managed not to completely fall apart. Dom is not doing his best work and this team does not have the depth to manage any losses right now. This is on Dom, Canetti and ownership. This season really highlights the need for new ownership.
Dom and canettis hands are tied most of the time, ownership is NEVER going to give them the resources they need to make big signing or have wider scouting. Until there is a new owner, this team is gonna rely on dom and Canetti hoping to find bargain priced players on lower clubs in uk and South America. That just doesn't work out a lot of the time.

With what appeared to be most of the first team, too. That's pretty rare as Dom has seemed to never give much thought to ever winning this tournament.
I guess he felt the first team needed a motivational push with a win. Wasn't much motivation though, they played terrible! Except for Giles Barnes. He's the only one who played well. Even then, he can't seem to that against MLS teams. And crappy mistake by Deric. As much as I dislike Tally Hall, he's still the best keeper on the squad.
He's an okay shotstopper, but I feel like in at least 1 out of 4 goals scored on him, he could have and should have done more. But my biggest peeve is that I'm not a very big fan of goalkeepers who are poor with the ball at their feet. Hall is a good shotstopper, but I like modern goalkeepers that can play out the back. Everytime Hall kicks it, it's either going out for a throw in or going to the opponents. I know it seems too much to nitpick on.
