Doubt he'd cost that much. Didn't 2 years ago when he was a FA.

Other than bullpen i just don't see us doing anything this offseason. We're not gonna be contenders next year. If some of our prospects start breaking out and we look to be competitive then we can add FA's next offseason.

If things really go well, maybe we start spinning some prospects for MLB talent next year, but i just don't see any need to do it this offseason.

    Nothing.

But 21 games doesn't mean anything. Lets see where he is at the end of September.

They'll sign reclamation projects ala Bedard, guys on a 1 year deal who hope to revamp their career and then get traded and/or garner interest in FA. Until Crane pays down his investor buddies over the next couple of years, I wouldn't expect a payroll over ~60M.

They desperately need to find bats at the corners, hopefully Singleton is 1 of the 4. If they do trade Bud, a corner OF bat would be my priority #1.

For all the grief that Wade got for being a "bullpen tinkerer", I sure hope Luhnow does some tinkering in the offseason. That would be the cheapest way to make the club at least semi-respectable.

Ryan Sweeney would be a nice RF, still sorta young at 28.

Skip Shumaker wouldn't surprise me to take on an utility guy role
