so this was basically an auction and he's going to the highest bidder. Jim Crane won't win that kind of game
Olney isn't clear...did he already sign with the White Sox? Or are the Astros just saying they don't think they got him, but aren't sure??
Hopefully we still have a shot. Correct me if I'm wrong, but if the Astros sign him we don't have to forfeit a draft pick either.

Even if the Stros lost out on him, I am so encouraged just to hear that they were even involved. First true sign Crane is willing to spend big dollars. Hopefully this bodes well for the franchise either way.
