Don't worry we will trade Springer for 2 top prospects. He is to old at 25. Then we will get 1st pick again. "Best farm system" worse mlb team. That's what we expect.
Well losing Springer, Singleton and maybe Santana (I don't think he stays long enough) definitely hurts. Meanwhile they continue to add with trades and not lose any guys. Their system is very impressive though

In Lancaster, it's really not that bad. Over the last 30 games, there have been on average 13 runs scored in Jethawks games. It's hell to be a Jethawk pitcher during the summer. He's certainly pitching better over his last 3 starts, but he's still not where you would like him to be. If he can put together a good start or two I expect him to be promoted. I can guarantee the Astros want him out of there at this point, so they will look for any reason. In other Jethawks pitcher news, Vincent Velasquez is back on the bump tonight, so that's certainly good to see.
Luhnow said during one of the last home games that if Appel can get 2 more good starts, he'd be heading to Corpus.
I don't disagree with what you are saying, but if the Astros really want him out of there, they need to move him out of there. It is their organization, they don't need anyone's approval
