The thread police are spinning their heads wondering if a major league players' minor league rehab status belongs in this thread...
So is Musgrove starting to become a real prospect? 6IP 4H 1ER 2BB 8K. He has good K/BB numbers (49/9 in 52.1 IP) and his GB% is 52.8. He's 21 in Class A Short Season, but he has nice numbers either way. Does anyone know how his velocity is looking like? If I remember correctly a knock on him after he was drafted was that his velocity was down.

2-5 with a run scored, a ribby, and a double for those playing at home. A couple of extra base hits in his first 20 ABs and a 4:2 K:BB ratio.

Owens for OKC gives up two bombs tonight, one to a former star and one to a guy who I think will be a future stud. Manny Ramirez hit his 2nd, Kris Bryant his 15th (37th overall between AA & AAA). OKC Won the game big.
Scouting report on Phillips Above average to plus defense in CF (55-60) Above average to plus arm (55-60) Above average speed (55) Average to above average hit (50-55) Below average to slightly below average power (40-45) I'd say if we had to make a direct comp based on all of these tools, maybe a slightly slower Austin Jackson with a better contact rate. Jackson is a .270-290 type hitter with 10-15 hr power with plus speed and plays great CF with a pretty good throwing arm. Strikeout rate was a bit high earlier in his career, but has improved in that department. Another comp could be Nick Markakis if Phillips develops into a little more power. Above average runner, good defense, plus arm, lots of doubles and 10-20 home runs, although Markakis has settled into the 10-15 hr area. I think an older Nick Markakis might be a better comp, with Phillips having more speed. I could see Phillips being a .280 12hr/60rbi type with 15-20 steals
