I know they had a buy back clause.. supposed to be 50% of the profits.. I always thought it was 50% of anything on top of a said amount. So let's say you sell him for 40 mill, arsenal gets half of 40 mill minus 33 mill ( or whatever this amount was)? So in this scenario we could have gotten 3.5 mill more.

Looks like Man U is about to seriously reload and clean out the Moyes stench. I'm not seeing a big improvement from Man City this season, if they can't convince Yaya to come back, then I could see them falling down a few slots. They have no midfield presence to replace him.
That Suarez for Alexis + 60mil sounds real good right about now. I wish LFC would go after real superstars, not some overpriced young prospects or over the hill dudes. Won't convince world class players to come with acquisitions like Lallana and Lambert. It doesn't seem ambitious enough.
Toni Kroos reached an agreement with Real Madrid and Bayern will sell him for 25-30mil, according to Marca. Still don't know how I feel about him, has the potential to be one of the best central midfielders in the world and has some brilliant games, but there are just way too many days where he seems to show no effort and hurts our team. Guess good riddance, hope we'll sign a decent and dynamic midfielder now.
