Yeah, we're officially a feeder club... if not already for the past few seasons. Had no idea it would come to this when Xabi Alonso and Co started leaving. What ever happened to that Singaporean (or Chinese) billionaire that almost bought the team before FSG turned up? Is he still interested? Or there has to be other Arab billionaires with more money than he knows what to do with out there.
Liverpool have actually been a feeder club for a long long time now. Just look at McManaman, Owen, Alonso, Torres, Suarez etc. I mean, how long is it since they won the English league? 25 years? They have a nice history, but I'm sorry buddy. Top talent will choose better clubs than a team that haven't won the domestic league in 25 years.
I think it'll be more pronounced now that our two homegrown boys in Carra and Stevie retiring (MLS for Stevie is basically vacation with pay). I don't count Owen and Torres as feeding other clubs (because I dislike them bishes after they left).
I see, but that's not really the point. Owen and Torres were Liverpools best players but decided to move on to bigger clubs. Hence Liverpool being a feeder club back then also.
