I started to after Rockets annual playoff meltdowns

Bayern continues to buy all good players from Germany or Poland in that case.
    No worries.

True, but Monaco won't send him away for peanuts (bought him for 45mil last year and he increased his value a lot this WC), especially as it is likely Falcao will leave for Real Madrid.

Rodriguez stated he would like to play in Spain, mainly for Real or Barca.

Still, looking at our financial situation, adding the Kroos money and possibly a Shaqiri transfer to Liverpool (Shaq rumoredly already agreed with them), we are able to buy every player below 80mil if necessary (highly unlikely, but even Neymar was discussed and only declined because of German weather and mentality).

Reaaaally looking forward to our next transfers, there should be a few surprises and big names coming.

Outside of the WC, how is Shaq? I haven't seen him play in the league games. I don't take WC performances much into account of a player's worth. Supposedly he's supposed to be Suarez's replacement. I don't know if he'll be able to mesh well with Sturridge, especially if he plays selfish ball.

I'm still not too excited of Liverpool's signings. We need superstar names. Lallana is not that young (27) and at that age I don't think he'll improve much than what he is now. Hence the money we paid for him is friggin ridiculous. England will continue to specialize in suckage in the international stage as long as their players are sold at 4-5 times their worth.

Well, he's a really energetic player that's best used as a 10 or winger. Really good at dribbling and 1on1 situations, strong shot and has advanced vision for his teammates (had some brilliant assists out of nowhere in certain games).

We mainly used him off the bench as a joker, as he brings in a lot of energy and can change the outcome of a game, especially when your team needs to score a goal.

Negative aspects are that he can play out of control sometimes, meaning he'll make boneheaded plays, mess up easy passes or shoot instead of passing to a teammate.
Also needs to work on his shot, I recall many missed chances that he should've converted. Could improve his passing as well.

In general, he didn't improve like many fans thought he would and the majority doesn't see him as a player good enough to start for Bayern, so we understand the move.

Would be interesting to see him adapt to a starting role, Premier League and Liverpool seem like a perfect fit with the offensive and high-paced approach.

    Get in line buddy!

Yup, I don't see Monaco selling unless it's an absurd amount.

They'll just tear up the contract and give him a higher salary and add a higher release clause.

Rybolovlev and Ha-mez's agent have a good relationship. If he leaves the principality after this WC i'd be shocked. Especially if Falcao does go to Madrid.

Then again, I wouldn't be surprised if Ha-Mez is 3ptyowned and the decision won't really be up to him as to where he would like to play(re. him saying he'd like to play in Spain).

He (Shaqi) modeled his game after him. Messi is his idol, what can I say?
His teammates and friends probably gave him that nickname.

Only way I see him leaving is If publicly goes and asks for a transfer and of course for a ridiculous amount. An amount that probably only Madrid (maybe PSG) would be willing to pay. Falcao to Madrid I hear is a done deal.

    In that case, it's cool!

In other news, according to BBC (few papers I trust) Barca exec. will meet with Liverpool exec in London tomorrow. hmmmmmm. I still want my da** CBs and RBs.

Meh like Yung-T said, if Falcao does move to Madrid then the odds are verrrry low Hamez leaves after the WC. Falcao and Hamez have the same agent who is buddies w/Rybolovlev. If the Russian allows Falcao to leave, his star striker that he bought to help bring victories and fans to the principality, no way he lets his star midfielder who is shining in the WC, leave as well. Not for at least another year imo.

Dude wth is happening again with Barcelona and their defence? Pre-season is almost here and still no new CB's. I know they have a fair amount of time until the transfer window closes but it seems silly they are waiting this long to strike. Now United are in for Hummels and Barca would have a battle on their hands. Who are they going for now at CB? We've heard so many different names over the last year or so, what have you read about who they might be going after now?

    ^^
Most teams are waiting for WC to end because of possible breakout performances, injuries or agents that don't want to transfer their guy when he still has games to play and could increase his value.

PS: Bayern and Barca are apparently fighting over Cuadrado (Columbia), would be a nice player for Bayern imo and has the skillset we are missing atm (quick player with advanced dribbling 1on1 skills for our midfield and possible successor to Ribery).

According to Sport1 (German news), Kroos has agreed to a 5year deal with Madrid and the clubs are now trying to reach an agreement regarding transfer fees.

Maybe Kroos is playing better on club level than for the National team.

It is not going to be his World Cup.

Yeah but some teams are still striking without waiting for the end of the WC because they know possible breakout performances means higher fees. Juve aren't letting the WC stop them, or Chelsea or PSG.
I guess it is in the best interest of the player if he is playing well to hold out but for a club like Barca that has been dilly dallying on the defensive front for multiple seasons now, this may come back to mess them up. PSG acted on David Luiz and they have their guy. Now United are back in the mix for Hummels so that might mess w/Barca's plans. I wonder who they will aim at next.

Cuadrado at Bayern would be excellent. I can see that like you wrote, about him being a potential Ribery successor.

Rumors/news regarding football rumors are much worse than NBA ones.

I get news-feed/rumors about Arsenal every 2-3 hours.

Judging by it, it seems Arsenal wants to sign everyone that has ever played professionally.

Yea, if you're trusting rumors, every player commits to five clubs each summer and each club is about to sign 50 guys. You really have to sort out all the garbage, especially British tabloids are full of sh.. and throw out every name possible.

That's why they call it the "silly season".
I try not to pay much attention to it-(that's why I have no idea who else Barca have expressed interest in lol).

Kroos to MAdrid a done deal, according to Marca. Clubs will make it official after WC.

Btw, the transfer fee is 25mil€, hate how Bayern sells their players for peanuts (know he's in the last year of his contract, but c'mon).

I really think this is a good move and will make us a more explosive and vertical team, can't wait for our next transfers.
