I don't think fair is the right word. He didn't get the chance he expected because the team traded for Harden. I wouldn't call it unfair, but an unlucky turn of events for him.
Lin played like garbage year round. Part of it because of our coach and Harden hounding his ass refusing to anything without a ball. If I didn't see this in person I wouldn't be saying this.

Was he expecting to the be the franchise player for the rockets? if he was suppose to be then Morey would have blacklisted by all NBA owners. No way in hell that Lin would be the franchise player for any NBA team. I don't even think he could lead a team to the playoffs in China, ask Tmac. he had his chances to be a hero. <iframe width="560" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/ztbrMlrPCzY" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
Jeremy likens his experience in Houston to what he went through in the D-League... [rQUOTEr]“Those two seasons to me reminds me of my time in the D-League,” Lin said. “It’s a chance to grow, develop as a player and go through the necessary bumps and bruises. You hopefully go through things and it primes you for something bigger and better in store. That’s what I’m hoping for. It made me learn a lot and grow a lot as a player. I don’t have as much to show for. You couldn’t see everything. Hopefully I get a chance here.” http://www.insidesocal.com/lakers/2014/10/26/lakers-jeremy-lin-to-start-tuesday-against-houston/ [/rQUOTEr]
