Why are people surprised if Lin doesn't start? Lakers never guaranteed his starting position (Nash was gonna start anyway), and I am sure he is not in Lakers long term plans. By next season he will be on another team.
just when I thought the meltdown when Beverley started was bad, this gonna be real real bad lol I don't think Lakers would do it though, better not to alienate that fan base, they are tanking anyway, might as well sell more tickets by letting Lin satisfy his fan boys wet dreams by putting up meaningless stats
Eric Pincus retweeted this "warning" from some LOF after he retweeted Clutch's tweet lol. <blockquote class="twitter-tweet" lang="en"><p><a href="https://twitter.com/EricPincus">@EricPincus</a> Which makes sense. That particular blog you RT'd is...um...not viewed favorably by many Lin fans. Just a heads up.</p>— Paul Villarreal (@PFV_On_The_NBA) <a href="https://twitter.com/PFV_On_The_NBA/status/525504528586924032">October 24, 2014</a></blockquote> <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
Do you guys think the Lin/Davis duo can be as good as Stockton/Malone? IMO, they will be even better. Kobe can be our Jeff Hornacek. Championship is as good as ours if we play with the same gritty style as the Sloan Jazz.
r u serious or trolling? Lin cant average >10 assists per game yet like stockton.. he has to prove himself first...
it's not. about to overload, that is. there is a thread, who cares who starts. stuff like that. Don't shoot the messenger. just want us to stay real here. The below is pretty commonplace: New postPosted: Thu Oct 23, 2014 11:15 am Post subject: Jeremy Lin is a pleasant surprise. I hope he stays healthy. If he and Kobe are compatible we'll be a team that will surprise some teams and please Laker fans. "Looks like Lin is playing like he did in New York. It doesn't seem like he's under pressure like he was in Houston." From one of their 5 stars.
... the Lakers are going to suck this year. And Lin is still Lin -- he still makes all the Lin mistakes, he still is exhausted the second night of a B2B, makes foolish decisions. Things have not really changed. But the Lakers just really need what Lin brings.
