He is turnover prone and his handle is too weak, he can't be considered to be above average at playmaking. But tonight, he was great in playmaking, he only had 1 turnover. But it is only one game.
Gems keep coming. Shall we share more little gems from the past? .......and plenty plenty more. I like how he uses "we". Roaches dont die. They simply hide.
I don't think they want to win. Otherwise, Kelly, Sacre won't see the court and a rookie won't be starting. Nor will the coach changes rotation every 5 games, therefore ensure no chemistry. But given the roster and the limitation to follow the direction to "develop young players", the coach does try to do the best to win. This way, the personnel decision will ensure Lakers lose as many games as possible. But the coach and the players do play to win. Thus there will still be competition between the players. Players still play hard. Byron Scott completely ditched his Princeton offense in the 4th quarter in favor for the system that completely cater to Jeremy. He is either trying to win. Or (more likely) he is auditioning Jeremy Lin to see if Jeremy can carry the team next year.
Rondo didn't play very well in Dallas... CP3 never tried to play the way other than the endless pick'n'rolls... Dragic complained about the off-the-ball playing role... Everybody who can drive'n'kicks needs the ball to be effective... Image if Harden play a lot more without the ball... I guess he would become a 18-4-6 players and that's all... Lin is nowhere near the talent Harden is but if you take the ball outta his hands and throw it to someone like Kobe/Nick Young/Boozer... Then Linsane numbers would hardly happen and he will just be playing like a poor-man Fisher...
Though his handle is weak... but his speed is lightning... If you put Novak/Parsons/Marcus Morris/Patterson/Kelly in to stretch the floor for him and let him drive endless... Good things would usually happen.
First sign you're a LOF, you've actually watched Lakers games all season. Second sign you're a LOF, you blame coaching for Lin's play. Third sign you're a LOF, you use the term set Lin free when talking about his game or lack thereof.
Look, it's not like Lin is the only one who needs sb to stretch the floor for him... Dragic is a better ball-handler than Lin. But he still needs those spacing to be a good playmaker. Frye was his best friend and now the Miami Heat try to ask Henry Walker to start and shoot 11 3s a game, though Luol Deng was the PF.
This game shows what he would do if the coach just let him. 20/8/6 and a triple double every five games.
I wouldn't call it lightning but he does have above average speed and quickness. Lightning wouldn't get undressed by Mario Chalmers and Norris Cole back in the Linsanity days.
oh i am laffing.jpeg Jeremy Lin and Lamb would've won us 2 championship by now And also, I love how Lin fanboys love to put other scrubs on Lin's team in their wet dreams. If they were ever GM they would put 4 high school players on the team with Lin just so he can jack up 50 shots a game and lose every game.
Stay away Allegro. You have been exposed to be the typical Lin fan - Stupid, idiotic, delusional and know nothing about basketball. Lin better than Harden at anything on the basketball court is laughable. Have more wins with Lin and Martin/ Lamb than Harden? GTFO moron. Lin had a good game but it's no big deal like you clowns make it out to be. Lot of below average back ups have good games against bad teams or teams missing their best players. Case in point DJ Augustin.
tired legs... 4th games in 5 nights... all his teammates were tired too and didn't move much to save the TOs for Lin.
Meaningless - Lin's empty stats on a losing team. Boring - Lin fans' constant excuses and finger pointing and blaming the coach, system, racism for Lin's inadequacies.:grin:
His handle is weak... below average... His shooting skill set around the arc is poor... His basketball-IQ is just slight better than average... His lateral quickness is just average... He can't even jump over most of the 6-3 PGs from standing position... Look, he is not a huge threat from beyond the arc and long-2 area... So... How come did he brake down the defense play after play? Elite first step and explosive acceleration explained it all... though he is an Asian.
Lol at Allegro. I'm guessing he posts while wearing a helmet and is easily disctracted by shiny objects.
I am laughing so hard at this post, "I think the front office panicked and forced the coach to set Lin free" So many things wrong with this sentence. First of all, Lin is not that relevant as you think, a lot of Lin fans put him on the pedestal but currently Lin is just a role player and he is no more special than any other role player in this league, and NO, no one is trying to handcuff him. forced the coach to set Lin free? lol
