DMO has to be resigned by the Rockets. They really missed his team D during the playoffs and go-to post moves. In that regard, he is a far better player than Jones. Jones is more physical and can rebound better (but not that much better) and scores off the basket. I like Jones, but he needs to find his playoff mode. DMO has such unique skillsets and is only improving. His 3 Point shot was really falling towards the end of the season, his Defense was very good when he played the PF position (C was more difficult), and his post moves are the best on the team...BY FAR. And as other posters pointed out, he was our 2nd best scorer for a stretch of time when Dwight and Jones were out. The guy can flat out play and he'll only get better.

You guys are delusional if you think that DMo could contain the Griffin that's playing in the playoffs right now...

You're also delusional if you think that with DMo this series would be over in 5 games... This is not the same Clippers team and DMo is not Olajuwon, but for some reason that's who you guys act like he is.

Has DMo developed nicely? yes.... Could he stop Griffin right now? HECK NO... Griffin is on another level right now...

This series has been so physical and Dmo wants nothing with that type of play.. So back to the original question that i asked.. Enlightened me how this series would be a cake walk with DMo... It would still be a dog fight..

Hope we can keep him in long term, big man with post move could keep improving until 27 to 29 since repetition will make it more consistent and more accurate.

DMO's post game is Top 10 in the league easily.
Makes 3's too. Damn we miss him.

Get well for next season, man.

Thanks for the highlights! This is a guy you want to feed him on the post! Howard does not have the skills and touch to be as efficient in the post, but i like the Howard we are seeing recently with almost Zero post up, grabbing offensive rebounds, toying the opponents on those alley-oops, also playing great defense on the defensive end.

If Dmo is not injured we really have a good chance to go all the way this year! Hope he returns with a complete healthy body. This guy was overused in the past year, I remember he was playing for Lithuania the whole summer last year.

Did you miss the reg. season game where the Rockets beat the Clippers with him at the C position?

He has a turn around hook shot. Plus he can get off like fi e different ****s from different angles with both hands. AND he shoots the three at a good clip.. especially at the end of the season there. You want a dream shake? He shakes everyone 15 ft in. He is gonna shore up his freethrow shooting this summer. Hes gonna start getting a bunch of calls next season.

No I saw it.... But this isn't regular season if it were, Harden would be playing like a mad man and you guys would be complaining about Howard.

This is the playoffs and as I stated before Griffin is not playing like it's the regular season, the refs are not calling games like it's the regular season.

The refs are letting the big boys play, that's why Harden is having such a hard time.. DMo is not a physical player and this would be way out of his element.. DMo's biggest weakness are rebounds and playing defense on someone who's physical.

I'm not saying the Rockets would lose with DMo, i'm saying this series would still not be a cake walk with DMo.

You assume so much. Dmo has a couple scars on his arms and legs. When he plays physical as a new player he gets a bunch of a call his way. Forget about his listed weight, dude is a good 270lbs. He's strong enough to hold position and spin to the basket for easy hook shots and layups. Most importantly he's a better facilitator and passer than any of Smith, Jones, Howard from the post. So he could easily be the playmaker from the post unlike Howard. This team would get a bunch more wide open 3s and easy cuts to the basket. And though he doesn't rebound as well as he should his presence creates rebounding opportunities...

Thank you for that. The guy is already amazing and not even in his prime yet. Hope he comes back 100%. I also cracked up hearing Bullard's "What is that Manimal abuse?" quote again.

I think DMo may be benefitting the most from working with Dream. He's the only one that has hands to go with the footwork. Great touch with the hook, the patience with the footwork. He's only going to better.

I can also say the same with your stance.....

DMo is turning out to be a nice player.... But he's not the 2nd coming of Hakeem and he has a helluva lot to learn...

My entire reply was to the poster who stated that with DMo this series would be a cake walk... My reply is no it wouldn't... The main reason is due to how physical this series is and that is not DMo's strong suit...

So No i'm not assuming... This series would not be a cake walk if DMo was playing.. It would still be a battle and a struggle..

DMO would be dumb to rush back from his type of injury and risk a big payday

I just feel sorry for DMo. Guy played hard and well with other bigs out and now has to sit on the bench in a bleeping suit.
GSW could be too tough nut to crack, they are really good.
