dirk, monta and parsons r all super jumper reliant, they have a chance to win once 2 can go off and invincible if all r hitting, otherwise things get ugly even with tysons great performance
Chandler Parsons scores 30 points and grabs 7 rebounds. Dirk shoots 4-17 for 11 pts. Monta Ellis shoots 1-11 for 2 pts. Tyson Chandler is outscored 0-to-32 pts by Marc Gasol. And half the people on this page is trying to pin the Mavs' loss to Chandler Parsons' defense on Prince (11 pts) and Tony Allen (13). LOL. Seriously, you Parsons haters have become a ridiculous caricature. Do y'all even realize just how ridiculous you sound? Practically frothing at the mouth trying to find every excuse to hate the guy. It's literally impossible to reason with people who are so consumed by so much hate. It's past the point of insanity already.
Rep this man. It's sad but true, the blinding hate for certain players (Parsons, Lin,...) destroys the majority of threads. Every serious discussion turns into a b***fest and poo flinging.
I'm not choosy. I'm equally happy if Chandler plays well yet the Mavs lose as Chandler plays bad in a Mavs win.
What's new here? Portions has another big game against the Grizzlies but his team ends up losing. I have seen this before. Remember the 10 3's he hit against them but yet the Rockets ended up losing 88-87 or something like that.
People just like having fun at the expense of Parsons and the Mavs. But yeah let's try to turn this into some grandiose discussion about 'hate' and lord knows what else :roll eyes:
the jabs at parsons are completely justified. i have a lot of respect for lin because he acknowledged how great his time was here, and although, things didn't pan out for him here, he left as a professional, having only good things to say. now Parsons on the other hand signs an offer sheet with the enemy in a night club and has nothing good to say about the city but to get your point across, it only makes sense that you still have a hard-on for him. As a Houston and a Rockets fan, I will always dislike Dallas, the Mavericks, and Cuban. That's the way it's been for me since 2005. At the end of the day, I savor a Mavs loss more than Parsons playing poorly.
I think "blinding hate" is an incredible hyperbole, but that's the internet for us. I think there is a strong bias, some "amused dislike," and arguably a more than healthy interest in following his transition to our (truly) hated rival. But last night's result? This is the ideal outcome, if you ask me: Portions can play well and the Mavs lose. I just want them to lose lose lose, and that is so much better than him playing poorly and them winning. Cheers.
NBA lockdown says there not using him right and one of the host say he thinks he was overpaid ....but there talking about Rockets game against GSW Israel Gutierrez says there is "rumblings around the league that the team is not happy with him"
Wow cool story. Funny how you didn't post about the other games this season where Parsons was horrible and it took Dirk and co to carry the team to victory. People can hate on whatever player they see fit. Don't like then ignore the post just as yours will for anything "positive" he does.
Tonight I am in a real conundrum do I want the Mav's to lose to create further gap between them and us in the seeding and have the Mav's fans hate on Parsons more or do I want the Mav's to win to strengthen the value of our pick?.... I think I go with option C, Pellies lose and Parsons stinks it up royally! Win-Win.
The occasional 30pt game with poor defense isn't worth max money. The bigger problem is how that team is constructed. Too many perimter scorers and limited defense
I would eat crow if Portions didn't devour everything in sight. We're consuming hate because that's all that's left to eat.
