He hit 10 straight threes in one half against Memphis last year. Not really new seeing him get hot against this team. He's a streaky player... as bad as he's been to start the year, he may be going on his hot run.
He's playing well. Interesting stat: Mavs are winless against the other top 8 teams in the West. 0-4 coming into tonight.
It's so true. To be fair, he has outscored them handsomely (pun intended), but he brings a very 'soft' defensive presence to a team that struggles in that area already. Little doubt he can rack up some offensive stats, but it takes more to win a basketball game than offence.
Amazing a team of chuckers with no defense or real post presence is still considered a championship contender.. 0-5 against top 8 comp. nice. Parsons loves playing against Memphis but his teams still lose. Rockets lost that Memphis game when he went nuts from 3 too if I'm not mistaken
Carlisle is an elite coach. I'm sure Dallas' defense will improve somewhat as the season progresses. Can't really judge any team until March rolls around.
He is a max player. he should be guarding all 5 position and also getting his point efficiently. Just like Harden did for us:grin:
Parsons posted a -5 in the game even after scoring 30..at one point, when the mavs were up, he was at a 0 +/- diff yeah his defense stinks...he isn't effective on the court outside of his scoring, but that's not what cuban signed up for... he can keep scoring like this, but it's really one dimensional...he doesn't create as well as harden does for others and doesn't impact every possession... he's kinda like their overpaid oj mayo
