How's Tyson Chandler? Haven't heard much about him after he won his championship, injured much? The Chandler and Chandler connection.
This has the makings of a great story in Parsons. From 2nd round pick to max player. He is basically what I watch sports for. I enjoy the narratives of handwork leading to success. I'll be pulling for him (and Lin), just not when he plays against the Rockets.
He's injured a lot and is a poor copy of the Dallas/Knicks DPOY player. Remember the old version of Deke we had vs the one from Denver/Atlanta/Philly? like that, that's why Phil traded him.
Not the same. An Asian player still has it a lot harder than a white guy but yeah. I will watch them but not really intensively now that they are not on the Rockets
Since everyone wants to wallow in depression and self pity, even though we now have a more complete two way player, here you go: Try sleeping without nightmares tonight
Dheymn, his turns into Teen Wolf now when he's mad? I knew Carlisle would make him better but that's really taking his game to the next level.
Vince Carter per 36 minutes: 17.6 ppg 5.2 rpg 3.9 apg 82% FT 39% 3PT Chandler Parsons per 36 minutes: 15.9 ppg 5.3 rpg 3.9 apg 74% FT 37% 3PT Carter has better numbers...but Parsons will improve upon his numbers from Houston. This is a lateral move for Dallas, yet they are paying him more than we pay Harden. L. O. L.
Lets not get carried away. Rockets head to head will.still smoke the mavs in my opinion. Ariza in a supporting role will lock down 3s and hit timelyn3s. Who is going to guard harden? Monte??
I mean no offense to C Parsons, but yeah, Cuban just really screwed the Mavs and Dirk's last years. Wouldn't spend even $3M on Vince Carter but now has to pay Max money to a (very solid) role player who is going to get regularly lit up by KD and the other six or so western small forwards who are superior to him.
Will he be better than Kawhi Leonard now that he's under Rick Carlisle? I'm seeing a Tayshaun Prince 2.0 here.
Has anyone mentioned that he barely missed out on being Dallas' highest paid player? Only ~150K less than Tyson Chandler Barring any major signings, he'll assume that honor the season after next

It definitely was a poor move from Dallas- I think they did it out of spite or because they thought we'd match (Cuban saw us getting a big name as a zero sum game, apparently).
