You're missing a bit part of the picture if you're not considering that Chandlers restricted free agency had everything to do with the Dwight deal. I understand that the market in free agency the market is driven by whoever sets the price. I'm not mad at Chandler for taking the Mavs deal. I'm not mad at the Rockets for not matching. I just completely disagree with the picture that parsons is painting in interviews.
Am I mad they screwed dirk out of millions? Why would I care? Now if it comes out that Cuban is paying Dirk under the table, that would be hilarious.
I am. If he used the extra money to get a superstar, bully for him. If he uses the money to sign a role player.... LOL. We know this, there will be free agents the next two years, and Dallas won't have money to spend because they are spending it on a role player. Hooray!!!
Who would Cuban rather have, Parsons or Howard? LOL Dallas got the consolation prize and paid more than full price. I'll take Howard over Parsons any day.
And what do they have to attract anyone? An over the hill Dirk and the best recruiter in the NBA? LOL Meanwhile, next year we know who won't be bidding on Lebron, Rondo, Love or Aldridge. No one chooses Dallas over Houston. Look where Howard went. Run on back to your Mav board and get on your knees for Mr Cuban. Why so many Mav fans infesting our board? Guess they are mad cause Morey played Cuban like a fiddle.
Can't speak for anyone else, but I'm not mad. This transition is old news. You guys and gals should just talk about Chandler Parsons the Dallas Maverick (and so should he). As for Cuban's plan, Dirk did Dallas a great favor. It was an ... interesting way to spend the "Dirk bonus" on Parsons. We'll have to see how it works out.
If you have to say "they pretty much" then they really didn't, at least not literally, otherwise he would just say what he was told and be done with it. I'm sure they told him to go do his free agency thing and that they wanted to keep him though.
Here is my memory of CP25. He lost the Portland series because he could not play defense for one second. I'm glad he is gone. Addition by subtraction. The fact that Cuban overpaid to get rid of him is a big bonus.
lol one play shouldn't define his time in houston. he was solid while he was here and it got him paid. props. that was a touch shot by llilard regardless
Who are you to say what play defines his stay here? That play defines his stay here for me. Parsons was a role player with two stars on his team and he couldn't help the team get out of the first round when he was called upon to do his part. Ariza played with Kobe and Pau and he played his role and got a ring. I would much rather have Ariza than Parsons. Parsons is a loser and a Maverick.... wait that's redundant.
if it does for you then that's you..parson's is still a solid player whether you like him or not. sounds like you're just still bitter. you talk about him doing his part but he was the one who put the rockets up 2 before that point lol
If Batum didn't abuse him we wouldn't have had to be put up by 2. The fact he talked mess about being the series' best SF adds more egg on his face. Good riddance.
Its been beaten to death so many times on here, you would wonder why it needs to be brought up. People are doing their best to forget our **** up and find a scapegoat.
why you so stupid. Seriously. Did you miss the switch called by our defensive specialist...who had no busy calling it in the first place? That's the reason Lillard even broke the play and decided to take the shot (according to him).
True, BUT Chandler did take the wrong angle on that close out. He played it as if Lillard would catch it lower or catch and go...so, he still has to share the blame.
