I don't want to avoid the question but... I don't know who will be on the Rockets roster. Patrick Beverley/Isaiah Canaan James Harden/Troy Daniels/Nick Johnson Trevor Ariza/Alonzo Gee Terrence Jones/Donatas Motiejunas/Robert Covington/Josh Powell Dwight Howard/Clint Capela vs. PG: Raymond Felton, Devin Harris, Gal Mekel SG: Monta Ellis, Ricky Ledo SF: Chandler Parsons, Jae Crowder, Richard Jefferson PF: Dirk Nowitzki C: Tyson Chandler, Brandan Wright, Greg Smith As of July 13th, 2014 at 7:50pm, Dallas.
everyone is going to see that he is worth all that money. say what you want about his wardrobe but he commits to improving his game. And with an actual head coach that can gameplan, he isn't going to look as bad on the defensive side.
I was never a big believer in Parson as a top 5 player at his position or his potential to be an elite wing, but I've always thought he was a solid/good player, especially offensively. Under Carlise and playing with Dirk, Ellis & Tyson, I believe Parson will have a great year, with room to shoot, drive and score much like in Houston, but while playing better defense due to Carlise's system.

Devin Harris. As long as that team has a functioning Dirk and Carlise, I'll always find them interesting to watch.
In the end, Parsons forced Morey to decide whether he is their 3rd star. Morey said no, Parsons moved on. Stay classy, guys.
There's barely depth on that team; they lost Marion, Carter, and Calderon who were huge factors. Dirk, Chandler, and Monta are going to have to do all the scoring for them. Felton's terrible and Tyson has regressed a lot.
I agree, much as it pains me to admit it. I don't think they are a contender but they will be in that morass of teams right below them as long as Chandler is healthy. If not, I could very well see them missing the playoffs. Either way, Parsons will be fine and probably continue the production or maybe even improve it playing in a more well-designed offense. I will be interested to see if Carlisle can get Parsons to play D like he did in his rookie year.
he isn't stupid. he knows what the hell the trade kicker does, no team is going to have him take up 17.5m on the cap.
Nah I feel you. Good luck to Parsons. Good luck hope he does well and the team around him crumples into ashes and gets swept away.
- Vince + corpse of Jefferson + under-pressure-Parsons = better? probably just a tad, if he stays uninjured after playing USA JV basketball. Parsons + new lower-tempo system + real coach + Jae Crowder pushing him (not kidding) + not playing for contract + enormous expectations of Dallas fans and org for his max contract = ??? I don't know. And as of about right now, I don't care much. Would agree they have a great coach, but Parsons is going to get a LOT less time with the ball. A lot less. shots of Monta (15.6 FGA) + Dirk (16 FGA) > shots of Harden (16.5 FGA) + Dwight (11 FGA). We'll see how much a third star he can be. Dallas and Cuban must be expecting at least all-star level play. Yep, we'll see.
Idk, we have the two best players. Beverley>Felton Harden>Ellis Ariza<Parsons Jones<Nowitski Howard>Chandler And Ariza is closer to Parsons than most think on here.
