15 million reasons not to be...crazy that Parsons essentially goes from the best contract in the league to one of the worst...but to each his own...He made money, but it probably cost him a chance to continue growing as a player...if your cold, Carlisle will park you on the bench...case and point...He had charlie V playing minutes down the stretch of this game...lol No bench/depth and yes..they are looking to add Jermaine O'Neal
But of all the changes Rondo would cause to the Mavs, I never thought Parsons could actually be hurt the most. He's just not getting touches now, which is weird because I've always found Parsons to be a pretty good player off the ball. You'd think Rondo can find him for some nice looks. Pretty amazing how little Parsons is getting the ball now.
I'm pretty surprised he's not thriving on Rondo's passing. I wonder how many pick-n-rolls Rondo and Tyson Chandler run since people thought Rondo would bring that to the Mavs.
Looks like those of us who were against getting Rondo had a point. And as usual most of the sheep who are obsessed with getting someone because they are a "big name" were ignoring the facts. Rondo is overrated. Dallas will suffer from having him.
