Well if he gets traded he wouldn't be in the rotation. I don't think I voted for him because I thought he would be traded

I hope Humber is the odd man out.

Of course last year it was assumed Livan was in, and the organization even said Harrell was out of the competition, so none of the other starters should give up.

Brian T. Smith (@ChronAstros): Lucas Harrell will start Thursday against Yankees. Bud Norris on Friday. Then second-tier starters get their turn to take ball first.

I'm thinking eventually it's going to be Alex White in place of Humber or Bedard. I think we can all say without hesitation that if Bedard has a very solid first half of the season he'll most definitely be flipped for something by the deadline. I see Humber struggling early on while White impresses.

    Been with the club longer.

    Norris
    Harrell
    Humber

    Are the top 3 with

    Bedard
    Peacock

    the likely 4/5 guys.

I was really hoping for Harrell to get the opening day nod

I don't know if this has been mentioned before but did anyone ever notice how eerily similar Wandy and Harrel's stats were last year?

    Wandy 12-13 3.76 ERA 205.2 IP 1.27 WHIP .255 BAA 139K 6.03IP/G
    Harrell 11-11 3.76 ERA 193.2 IP 1.36 WHIP .253 BAA 140k 6.03IP/G
