I think Hilton is going to make a name for himself this year and Luck will have two elite targets on the outside. Allen and Fleener are both good TEs if they stay healthy.

Luck is going to explode this year. Everything is set up for the Colts offense if their o-line is at least decent. Texans should be worried.

Looks like Vick beat out Foles for the starting nod.

I have the Colts at 9 wins this season. 10 max.

That won't be enough to win the division.

The Colts will regress this year IMO. I think last years season was a fluke. They gave up more points than they scored. Crazy.

It depends on the Texans. After his performance late last season, I just don't have much faith in Shaub's, especially with issues on the o-line.

That's fair. I do think that the addition of Hopkins will help tremendously. I also think that one or even two of the other young receivers could step up.

What I have faith most in is our defense.

Agree with Lance Briggs, fine is stupid, Bostic hit him in the chest...

Jon Bostic fined for hit, Bears' Lance Briggs tweets

Last week, we tabbed Chicago Bears linebacker Jon Bostic as one of 10 rookies ready to surprise this season.

Bostic received a surprise of his own on Wednesday morning.

<blockquote class="twitter-tweet"><p>Shaking my head moment. Nfl fines jon bostic 21k for his clean hit against the chargers.</p>&mdash; Lance Briggs (@LanceBriggs) <a href="https://twitter.com/LanceBriggs/statuses/370157547899998209">August 21, 2013</a></blockquote>
    <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>

NFL.com's Ian Rapoport confirmed that Bostic will be fined $21,000 for a hit Bostic made while playing against the Chargers. Rapoport said officials believe Bostic lowered his head against a defenseless player, which is a rule violation.

The hit likely in question came during the third quarter of Chicago's 33-28 preseason win over San Diego, when Bostic dropped the hammer on second-year Chargers wide receiver Mike Willie. The hit forced an incompletion and set the Bears' sideline on fire.

A replay of the tackle shows some helmet-to-helmet contact, but Bostic wraps his arms and delivers a tackle that officials chose not to flag.

"Bostic's going to square you up, form tackle you, and make you remember," ESPN's Trent Dilfer remarked.

"Kind of looked Lance Briggs-esque," defensive end Corey Wootton told Brad Biggs of the Chicago Tribune. "Everyone was saying, 'That's mini Lance over there.' It was a heck of a hit by him. He has been having a great preseason. He's been great so far."

The league has yet to confirm the fine, but if it sticks, it represents more than 5 percent of Bostic's $405,000 base salary.

He's probably waiting for the right situation and offer to come along. I'm sure teams are interested despite the dropoff.

like my super nintendo game used to say, " boom. he will that one tomorrow."
That was a violent landing, one that could make you see demons when you're 50, the way his head hit the turf. However, the hit was clean. There is no way you can prevent that unless you played football in some giant air mattress. At some point, the nfl needs to say, it's football, it's supposed to be violent.

I could almost forgive a ref for throwing a flag on Bostic and blowing a call. But for the NFL to have time to review that play and fine him is pure idiocy.

No kidding. No flag, announcers loved it and the NFL had it up on their home page last week, just stupid to fine him on a perfectly legal hit.

Pretty sure that hit was not legal according to NFL rules. You may hate the rules but please be aware of them before posting stupid things.

Looks like it will be Mark Sanchize err Sanchez for the Jets. Geno Smith looking terrible out there. Just ran out the back of the endzone ala Dan Orlovsky. Although I guess, if you're going to lose, why not do so with the rookie?

And Oakland is opening up their job. Poor Matt Flynn. Possibly beaten out by Terrelle Pryor.

Both teams are doomed. Geno Smith just isn't ready yet. IMO, the best case for the Jets is Sanchez starts the season, doesn't crash and burn instantly, but lasts a few games before faltering. Maybe by mid-season Smith can step in without flaming and burning.

Raiders are cooked even worse. Terrelle Pryor will NEVER be ready and they better hope Matt Flynn isn't a complete failure. I would take Smith or Sanchez ahead of either Flynn or Pryor.

Looks like Sanchez just injured his throwing shoulder. Don't know how severe it is yet, but the decision on who to start at QB may have just been made for them.
