So Brady is fine; Patriots don't miss Welker or Gronk or Hernandez; Amendola will have no problem replacing Welker; all is well in Patriots land.

    :p

    Preseason, yeah.

EJ Manuel looked tremendous on the last Bills TD drive. Even if Kolb ends up starting game 1, it won't be long before he warms the bench.

Wow Arizona offense is brutal. Dallas has turned the ball over 5 times and Arizona only 9 points.

Arizona's defense has looked pretty good so far. Tyrann Mathieu has been dominating.

Yup there defense was pretty good last year just the offense kept them on the field so long.

I wanted Atlanta to draft Mathieu and so far this preseason he has been all over the field.

What else is new? LOL. Dallas has tons of talent, and their future is looking brighter than it was a few years ago, but it remains to be seen if they will be able to do anything anytime soon. If Ware, Murray, and Lee can stay healthy this season, they should at least push for a wild-card spot. But no division title for the Cowboys this year since Washington has the division title all sewn up already. :)

NY? Meh...they didn't do much last year, and now Ahmad Bradshaw and Chris Canty are gone. NY is only good once they get in the playoffs, and the NFCE will be probably be tougher this year. The Redskins returned 21 of 22 starters, improved their secondary, and got several key players back from injury... the Cowboys should be able to ride their talent for at least a 9-7 finish, also getting several key players back from injury... and Philadelphia will probably get at least 7 or 8 wins.

I don't see the Giants doing too much unless something catastrophic happens to Washington, such as several key players getting injured like last year. And even if RG3 goes down, Kirk Cousins can run the offense effectively. Even if Brian Orakpo and Fred Davis get injured again, Washington did fine without them last year. Nope, sorry, the NFCE is still the Redskins to lose, and I don't see any of the other teams taking the crown from them anytime soon, although if it lets you sleep at night, go ahead and hope.

Because they are eternal rivals of the Cowboys and filleted the Pats in two Super Bowls, I love the Giants. Eli Manning will always be one of my favorite players just for those two games.

But I actually WANT the Redskins to win the division because of RG3. Problem is I think he will slump a bit this year because he spent the offseason rehabbing instead of having extensive throwing sessions with his receivers. Your point on injuries is well-taken and it's likely they won't have so many key players go down again. Let's hope for the best. Maybe RG3 isn't human after all and is even better than last year.

The Cowboys don't impress me much and the Eagles will almost certainly finish last in the division unless one of the other teams completely nosedives.

I can't get enough of NFC East matchups. All 6 of last year's NYG/WAS/DAL games were classics in my book.

The bold is a good enough reason to like any team.

And I concur with your last statement as well.

Andrew Luck sure doesn't seem to have the sophomore slump. that was an impressive TD pass to Hilton.

Yeah, they are probably a year or so away from a playoff apperance, but I think they'll be one of those teams that start slow and finish off with alot of wins towards end of the season, sort of like Carolina does.

And that touchdown to Reggie Wayne was unbelievable. He's truly an elite receiver.

The AJ Jenkins era is officially over in SF. Traded to KC for fellow 1st round WR bust, Jon Baldwin. Someone compared it to trading a broken down Geo Metro for a burned out Ford Pinto.

Funny since IIRC both didn't get a chance because of injury. Baldwin less so, but I think he had a run-in with Thomas Jones that gave him a bad rep.
