I'm picking Boston. They've had time to set up their rotation, and I THINK they're the better team, overall.

I'm hoping Detroit wins, just because I hate Boston and the Yankees more than any other teams in both leagues.

I think Detroit is the underdog, because Cabrera is hurt, they have players playing out of position and that makes them weak defensively.

So Boston should win. But I hope Detroit wins.

In the end I'll cheer for the National League team in the Series no matter who it is.

Even though the Astros are in the American league, unless it's the playoffs or the Astros, I still have a hard time watching the game and getting into it if it's American League.

Proud of both teams lifting the spirits of their respective cities from the bankruptcy for the city of Detroit and the tragedy at the Boston marathon. These people really need it and this will be a good playoff series. It'll probably go 6 games or the distance of a Game 7.

Holy cow! Sanchez struck out 4 players in one inning. What a crazy thing. Amazing playoffs this year.

Also... No hits for the Red Sox through 5 innings.

No hitting that lineup at Fenway? Crazy.

1-0 games in the AL take 4 hours. That's nice.

Only when the Red Sox are involved, apparently.

I love 1 - 0 games. The tension is always high, and it places a higher value every single time a runner gets on base. Fun stuff.

Although I was enjoying the game, the slow pace got really irritating. I was trying to flip between this and the Ole Miss/A&M game. I'd flip to the baseball game and try to watch one at-bat at a time, but by the time the given at-bat would end, I would flip back to see that I had already missed two or three minutes of game time in the football game.

Same here. Not much action in baseball unlike football and basketball. Just pitch and wait and then pitch and wait.

I'm actually a huge baseball. I'm on record saying that I like that baseball has a methodical pace, but games involving the Red Sox (also the Yankees and especially Red Sox vs. Yankees) just are on a different level in terms of slow.

As far as this game goes, the Big Papi home run was incredible and for that matter, so was the effort by Torii Hunter in right.
