Edit: And there goes that... Yu watching? Darvish with a no hitter through six. At least it's not the Astros.
Well, it took almost my entire life to witness this, but the Pittsburgh Pirates have clinched their first winning season in 21 years after a 1-0 win over Arlington in that cesspool of a town (again, Arlington) tonight. Michael Sanserino covers the Pirates for the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.

One #Pirates fan will celebrate in jail, arrested after taking the field here to celebrate.
— Michael Sanserino (@msanserino) September 10, 2013

Another year of the Rangers falling apart in September. They're 2 games up on the WC,with the Yanks and Rays right behind. I won't be at all surprised if they blow that too.
I remember the Sid Bream play like it was yesterday. As a kid, I cried myself to sleep that night after the Barroid failed to throw him out. R.I.P. The Curse of Barry Bonds
I think the Rangers can forget the division...at this point they're white-knuckling a wild card spot. Considering the number of teams chasing, and how well CLE is playing, I'd say they're in real trouble. In related news, I ain't even mad.
http://espn.go.com/blog/sweetspot/post/_/id/40339/as-roster-a-modern-marvel What Oakland does with their roster is quite amazing.
Oakland swept the Rangers Rangers now tied with TB for wild card spots. Cleveland is a half-game behind them.
We have 4 games at Cleveland, 3 at Arlington, and 3 at home against the Yankees. Astros will be a big decider on who makes the playoffs (3 against Cincy in the NL as well). Of course, we are the reason Texas is even in this thing. They are 14-2 against us.
