The kid from USC getting run was garbage also. I don't understand what they are expecting the defender to do. Soccer slide tackles?
Guys like Ronnie Lott, Brian Dawkins, Mike Singletary, and Ray Lewis, among others, will be viewed as decorated warriors come the year 3000 when this sport's extinct. Videos of bone-crushing hits and tales of carnage will be glorified by kids who never knew the game. From their perspective, it will be this ancient, barbaric war that took place every weekend in the "glory days" of America. Enjoy it while it's here, no matter how hard the big-money suits are ramming the sport up the ass.
I agree , but I don't think there is a defense that can slow down Johnny. If A&M loses , they lose like 38-35 or 42-38 in those ranges. @ LSU will be a very very tough game (night game @ Death Valley)
All QB's that run as much as these guys do... especially the "smaller" ones... are going to get hurt.
Is there any evidence that running QBs get hurt any more than statue QBs? The hits in and around the pocket are often the most vicious. In the NFL, you hear about Vick or RG3 being injured and people start talking about running QBs. But no one ever talks about the fact that Schaub, or Gabbert, or EJ Manuel, or Christian Ponder, or Jake Locker are all injured too.
Brett Hundley from UCLA got totally exposed today by the first really good team he's faced this year: Stanford. UCLA only managed 10 points and Hundley threw 2 picks.
