Feels so good to shut up the naysayers about Mizzou's ability to compete in the SEC. It wasn't the move from the Big 12 to the SEC that caused Mizzou to go 5-7 last year. It was an avalanche of injuries to an already-green offensive line and ultimately the QB spot. Now granted, Franklin is hurt again... but I think they're much better positioned to handle it this time around. For starters, Mauk is a better backup than Berkstresser... but more importantly, the offensive line is healthy, has some continuity and doesn't suck. Losing Franklin definitely hurts for the next couple weeks, but big picture, Mizzou is going to be fine in the SEC.
This just happened and they already gif'd him lol. Putting it here so I'll remember where to find it. I'm sure there will be an appropriate situation to use this gif in the future. As for the game, not looking good for my Gators.
21-7 isn't bad but I can't help but wonder how it might be if Keanon Lowe hadn't dropped the TD pass on their opening position. Looked like Oregon's defense had UW's offense gauged & measured in the 2nd quarter. Based on what happened last week, I expect UW to mount a comeback in the 2nd half. But they can't let Oregon score first.
Refs gifted Oregon on the first td. It looked like his forward progress was stopped. By the way I think forward progress is such a terrible rule anyway.
Caught looking ahead to FSU next Saturday by a well-coached, feisty BC team... the same team that had Jameis and the Noles on the ropes in week 4.
How the hell did they miss that blatant horse collar in the Oregon-UW game? It was directly in front of two refs...
The defense would just be able to lift people up and push or carry them backwards in certain situations.
