Finally, all the pee-pee Big 12 teams that don't belong are all gone. No SEC bias, Mizzou doesn't belong either. Hell, Baylor should be higher, so don't go all cry baby on me.
Please Please Please Louisville lose to Rutgers tomorrow, You have NO business being ranked that high..Baylor would put up 70 on you.
UW made Stanford look mortal last week, which makes me think they have a good chance to beat Oregon. Don't know why, but I have a feeling OU will not completely demolish UT this weekend.
Hey now, who belongs above us? We'll see what happens Saturday, but what Mizzou did last week was awfully impressive. Vanderbilt isn't a bad team -- hung in with Ole Miss and South Carolina, finished with 9 wins and in the top 20 a year ago -- and Mizzou went into Nashville and annihilated them. Loaded with NFL wideouts, a very good senior QB, three good running backs and continuity on the offensive line. Maybe we lose by a lot Saturday, and if so, I'll agree with you... but based on what I've seen so far, Mizzou absolutely belongs and I expect them to compete in Athens. The advanced statistics agree with me, too (MU at #12). http://www.footballoutsiders.com/stats/fplus2013
I know, I like Mizzou, Vandy can play - agreed, I just didn't want to look like an SEC homer so I had to say something to appease the Big 12 creampuffs on the board.
Ha. Well played. On their side, I'm actually still not convinced that Texas Tech belongs, but we'll see. Though I am a believer in Baylor, and hopefully a beatdown of Kansas State in Manhattan would give them enough "juice" to move into the top 10.
How does Bill Snyder plan on stopping Baylor’s first quarter offense? ‘We’re going to take the first snap and run into the locker room’
Will get to see just how good Stanford is in person. Hoping we pull the upset but I'll be happy if we keep it competitive.
People loooooveeeee the small conference pee-pee teams though, nothing you can do about it. Boise State, TCU, UH, etc... at their very best they both sucked. I don't care if Boise State beat OU with a Disney playbook, they sucked. Now TCU is in a real conference, now they suck - go figure.
Watching Louisville b/c of Charlie Strong. He's on the rumor list of possible Mack Brown replacements. After Saturdays savage OU 'American Me' ass raping it's all I have left for the season. Watching other teams coaches.
Ha. I love Strong. Well before the Louisville days. I wanted TAMU to get him as HC over Sumlin, the Techy coordinator and their pee-pee-ass-game offense. Strong would be a solid hire but I think UT goes with an offensive oriented coach. Strong is probably 5th or 6th on the list at best.
