Mizzou is gonna have to score 40 to beat TAMU. Probably more. They can do it but that's what makes it tough. They didn't light up Ole Miss or SC but TAMU's D is on par with Georgia's so...

I don't think SC is a good comparison at all. Aside from the Franklin injury stuff, SC was the only game all year in which Mizzou's had some problems blocking the opposing DL. Literally every other game, we've controlled the line of scrimmage throughout (except for a very brief stretch vs. Georgia). No offense, but I think A&M has more in common defensively with the other 10 teams than South Carolina. The Ole Miss game was slightly disappointing on offense, but keep in mind that Mizzou's goal for the fourth quarter was more to run clock than it was to score. They were fairly methodical and ended up taking a knee on the Ole Miss 15 with 2 minutes left... easily could have put up another TD had we wanted. I'm a bit concerned that Franklin missed on a couple of downfield throws, but hopefully it was the rust. The one nagging doubt I have is that if the A&M game turns into a shootout, I actually think Mauk is better suited than Franklin for that type of game... will Pinkel have the guts to pull Franklin (for more than a series or two) on Senior Night, if that happens? I think he will, but I don't know for sure. That said, I could be wrong, but I didn't like the body language I saw from TAMU in the second half against LSU. If Mizzou can land a couple early haymakers, it wouldn't shock me if the Aggies fold up a bit. Not necessarily because Mizzou is that much better than y'all, but just the situation. We'll see.
