UVA (where he was committed, IIRC) is over $30k a year. Scholarships also cover housing, and usually have book lending which adds on. I think I'll just kill myself for the life insurance when my kids go to college.
Yeah my brother is at Baylor right now and that's 40K if I remember correctly. College sure is expensive. Isn't it very common for teams to offer high school kids college money as well?
