In other European news, Luis Suarez looks to seek legal action against LFC for not selling him to Arsenal. Hard to root for the guy as a Liverpool fan. He's as good as gone, but we don't know where to. One thing's for sure, wherever he ends up, he'll have lots of haters from fans all over the world with the exception of the team fans he'll sign with. His stock is so low right now in people's eyes that I imagine a career ending injuring would be met with cheers. Oh well. I hope he fails wherever he ends up. May the rest of his career be filled with red cards, suspensions, fines and controversy. I don't believe he's a racist, but he's still a POS.
I'm not sure if anyone here does or has the time for European fantasy futbol but this site has an awesome setup. Check it out if you have some time to waste. http://www.footytube.com/dreamfooty/index.php?type=manage
Shoutout to Jontro - Raheem Sterlling arrested for allegedly hitting his model girlfriend and I don't mean giving her the D. <blockquote class="twitter-tweet"><p>Liverpool's Raheem Sterling charged with common assault <a href="https://twitter.com/search?q=%23SSN&src=hash">#SSN</a></p>— Sky Sports News (@SkySportsNews) <a href="https://twitter.com/SkySportsNews/statuses/365793684651909120">August 9, 2013</a></blockquote> <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
Well Sterling denied he did it and will have to stand trial at another date. So I guess we'll see what happens. If he did it and is found guilty, then shame on him and he will be rightfully punished. He's still a child and children make stupid mistakes. And his model gf has no boobs... would still hiddit anyway doe. Now if only he would assault Suarez...
Götze played in his first Bayern match in a test match against the Hungarian champions Györ today. He played for 30 minutes, scored two goals, some amazing passing between him, Ribery, Thiago, Shaqiri. We will crush everyone! <iframe width="560" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/oOKjQg-gVgA?rel=0" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
He's doing both. He's been working on his UEFA license this off season and will move into it permanently once he retires.
Watch out for PSV, very strong and young Dutch side. They have a very tough matchup in AC Milan for Champs League but they're looking like the favorites for the Eredivisie. If your a fan of a big club, start scouting which PSV players you want your club to buy.
Jontro, You a Liverpool fan, right? What's the verdict on Agger? Apparently Barca is now going after him, made an initial offer which was rejected by Liverpool.
Are you dutch? Otherwise i cannot understand your optimism with PSV. They are talented (for Dutch eredivisie standards), but I do not see any player of them being an addition to a european big club (or even semi big club). The dutch league has been terrible the last years, every now and then there are a couple of players who you expect to do well with big teams. But never much. I also disagree they are the favorites for the Eredivisie, I still think Ajax will likely be the champion. ofcourse my favorite team has had the worst start in decades (and have to play Ajax this weekend without 50% of their starting defense)
Ajax already lost one and with de Jong out for 6 weeks, they're taking some blows early. It's a long season but PSV is looking very good for a young team. In regards to PSV players moving on the bigger clubs: Karim Rekik - very talented Dutch defender, age 18, was is on loan from Man City, he'll be over at City possibly next year already contributing to their defense. Adam Maher - talented dutch midfielder but should stay with PSV with his new 5 year contract. Wijnaldum and Narsingh - have showed flashes of greatness, if they can put it together for a full season, they could see big transfers too. Matavz and Toivonen - Great attackers that could be moved. Zakaria Bakkali - 17 years old and youngest player to score a Eredivisie hat trick ever. Jetro Willems - 19 year old left back who has already been linked with clubs like Man U. Depay - has played well for Dutch international teams (the U-##s) I don't see how you can't see these PSV players transfering the clubs in EPL, Spain, Germany or Italy in the next few years. The biggest attribute is that most are between the ages of 17 and 20 and are contributing to a good team while getting Champs League experience. Maher, Depay, Rekik, Bakkali and Willems all have the potential to become stars, the rest listed can contribute to middle tier large European clubs.
He's not going anywhere. Unlike Luis "I'm a zombie and I eat people" Suarez, he's loyal to the Kop and fans. Besides I heard Barca is gonna pull out of his pursuit... apparently now he's not good enough to be a Catalan. And this isn't the first time Barca has come knocking on Agger's door. Also, kinda lame, but Rogers made Agger the vice captain in hopes that it'll keep his loyalty. lulz. Personally, I'd go for David Luis before Agger, he's younger and his hair is distracting. Too bad he costs more than twice of Agger's.
