You said that last season and promptly disappeared after the Heat lost and never paid up that 450$ bet.

Does anyone still care about what LBJ does in the regular season? Everyone already knows he can stuff stats in the regular season. The Heat are SUPPOSED to win it all. When you take the best players in the game and put them all on one team, that's what's SUPPOSED to happen. It was SUPPOSED to happen last year. The only reason it didn't was an epic choke by Lebron, just like the year before against Boston. Anything short of a championship is a FAILURE. A championship is what's SUPPOSED to happen. It won't be a surprise if it does, and when what's SUPPOSED to happen happens, everyone will just nod their heads and go along their way, just like they would if Jordan, Drexler, and Barkley had teamed up back in the early 90s.

As a fan of basketball, I care about seeing a guy have one of the greatest seasons in league history. While I agree that he needs to win a title this season to top it off I won't say that what happens in the regular season in meaningless. Should we not appreciate what Jordan did in 87/88 because the Bulls didn't win a title? Can we only appreciate what Hakeem did in 2 seasons of his career? Why should we hold LeBron to a higher standard than we hold any of those guys?

I didn't realize Kobe, Dirk, Howard, Durant and Rose played in Miami. The first two guys just won the last 3 titles. The first 3 guys led their teams to the last 4 Finals. But you are correct that Miami is supposed to win it all, similar to the super-stacked teams before them. It's kinda hard to win it all if your team doesn't arguably have the most talent in the league (it can happen, but it's rare).

This is true. And after that epic choke he seems to have worked on his game and is arguably having his best season to date. As a fan of basketball, I can appreciate a guy blowing it and coming back better.

Jordan played on and won titles with better teams than the current Miami Heat. So did Drexler (give me Drexler, Elie, Horry, Cassell and Smith for support and you can have Wade, Bosh and the rest of the Heat roster). Barkley did try to team up but it didn't work.

I don't know why folks continue to act like this is the most stacked team to ever grace a basketball court. The Heat don't have more talent than the 2008 Celtics or the 2010 Lakers.

Some bet last season in one of the Lebron threads, probably in the "Lebron chokes again thread".

You'll get the idea with bullardfan's sig.

There was never a bet made for the mavs series. Where did you come up with that random $450 number?!? Just making stuff up? There was a bet discussed which was actually never agreed to. I bet that the heat would beat the bulls when everyone here said they would get punked by Chicago. No official bets in the mavs series that in which I was involved in.

    Now you're just flatout lying.

I called you out in some other thread and you responded with saying it was a 50$ bet and you already paid. Which is also a lie.

Also, last year is over. This is about 2012. If you would like to bet against the Heat, let's bet, if not then stop talking about last year. Lebron had a poor finals, he choked under pressure, and Dirk came up huge - and the mavs won it. It happens, some people (even me) make incorrect predictions. But, he's come back stronger than ever and looks unstoppable this year. I respect that and enjoy watching the King play basketball.

I may be wrong again this year, but I'm willing to bet. Vegas predicts the Heat to win as well, so I guess I'm not the only idiot around here, huh flamingdts?

Please find the $450 number and post in which I agreed to the bet and I'll send that amount to your paypal account if you can find it. You pulled that $450 out of thin air and that appears to be a bold faced lie.

I do apologize, it was $250.

This post was on page 41.

I don't recall the specific post nor the specific thread to which you stated the bet, but since a lot of posters are aware of it I doubt this just came out of thin air.

But since you admitted already about the 50$ bet a while back, why don't you pay for that?

I never agreed to a bet. There were so many Lebron haters on this bbs last summer that people went crazy and started making up stuff - like that $250 mentioned there is just some random number. I offered to bet Vlaurio that the heat would beat the bulls and we even agreed on a number, but then he wanted me to change the bet to say that that the heat would win in 6 games or less - so we never agreed to that bet (even though I would have won).

Look, I'm one guy who likes Lebron and I'm outnumbered by 2000 people here who hate him. So it makes me look like the Troll/Loser simply because I'm outnumbered.

I accept this bet. So, by your logic, I shouldn't be taken seriously because I like a player that you hate? In that case, the Vegas odds makers shouldn't be taken seriously either because right now, you are betting against the house.

Oh now you're just going to flat out lie again. At least I was misinformed about the bet amount, but you made a bet.

    http://bbs.clutchfans.net/showthread.php?t=205445&page=3

When I called you out on this a few months ago you even claimed you paid for it and promptly disappeared off again, and now you are denying a bet even existed.

    You're as bad as GlenRice.

OK, so where did the $450 number come from? You're admitting that was a bold faced lie?
