Guess we all mistakenly made fun of Mitt: http://www.buzzfeed.com/mckaycoppins/morning-joe-mocks-romney-for-something-that-didn Romney supporters were actually chanting "Romney" not "Ryan."
Opposing the auto bailout was a part of the campaign. Remember, the guy has been on one looooooong presidential campaign for six years.
Hasn't basso already promised self banishment or something in a ridiculous bet? Doubtful basso has anything to back up, though if Romney, think of all that money. He wouldn't have to drudge for post clicks for a week!
Senator Jim Webb's comments on Romney has attracted some attention: http://www.politico.com/multimedia/video/2012/09/webb-hammers-romney-on-military.html It is as eloquent a response to the 47%/Maker/taker nonsense as I've heard. Just the right touch in sticking the knife in Romney. Not surpring from a smart guy who has done everything from serving as a marine, being the Secretary of the Navy to writing books and producing films. And this is a guy who has been critical of Obama, too (thinks that Obama didn't handle the ACA process well, was too passive, etc.). See here, for example: http://www.politico.com/news/stories/1111/67394.html I don't think he all of a sudden is thrilled with the POTUS or the Senate Dems right now, but that 47% Randian BS seems to have really annoyed him.
Because Webb has a good point. Romney, who took an out from Viet Nam while many of his contemporaries served, fought and suffered, is now calling those contemporaries who took Veterans assistance from the govt. freeloaders, takers, and claiming they don't take responsibility for themselves when talking to other wealthy guys at a $50,000 a plate fundraiser.
LOL. <iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/2C22wBf2h5k" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
Too much dem confidence... still need to vote and go hard the next 6 weeks or Robme will be President.
Romney up 11. http://www.examiner.com/article/mitt-romney-leads-11-percent-new-qstarnews-presidential-poll Eat it, liberals!
Only if the Cleveland-area vote gets suppressed, as the Bush team did in 2004. http://www.freepress.org/departments/display/19/2007/2920
I expect a furious campaign of shot gun fear mongering and lying in the final week before the opposition can react and remessage. That seems to work better for the underdog
Obama is on cruise control. Unless there is some domestic or international event/scandal for him to capitalize on, this won't work for Romney because the public is desensitized to the tactic. It would look like the last gasp, desperate measure of a loser and would probably backfire.
