Does that 132 include the ~20 he was supposed to make this year?

Very talented guy, underrated blocker too. Curious how much he'll get paid and if he'll raise his level of play.

Damn man, Philadelphia must be really creative with their contract structuring. Maybe the Texans should take notes.

it's basically the same deal as last year when he was franchised...and more than likely a much smaller cap number for the next couple years.

Eagles are well known for that but they've also had to let go of their fair share of very good players.

Jeremiah Trotter (in his prime), Brian Dawkins, Lito Sheppard, Sheldon Brown, probably more that I can't think of. None of them were especially young but neither are Winston or Myers.

I think the Texans are fine with their cap management. They had to go balls to the wall last year to get over the hump but now they are focusing on guys like Duane Brown, Schaub, Cushing for the future. At least we don't have the likes of Eric Moulds, Ahman Green, Anthony Weaver, or Jacques Reeves making coin and producing next to nothing.

They brought in the premier defensive end and cornerback free agents available last year after paying big for Vick. I'm still baffled. They've got a nickelback that could be starting on many teams for Christ's sake. Meanwhile, 60% of our oline is visiting another city.

@DCarr8: Champ has to defend his belt. I'll be there with my GMEN when WE do.

It sucks, does anyone know a site where the teams cap situation is displayed with each players salary listed. I'd love to see how our salaries line up with the rest of the leagues, I like you, am baffled how the Eagles can just signing UFAs left and right.

I usually check spotrac.com for player information. they break it down for base salary and cap hit as well. They generally are pretty quick updating FA signings also.
