You don't have depression. You are a progressive thinker and you don't want to fall victim to societies norms. Props to you for not wanting a nice house in the suburbs, wife, and screaming child. You can do it. Stop smoking, block p*rn sites from your computer and start learning how to live on the road like I do. I'll suggest a place to start with my buddy Dan's website: http://www.tropicalmba.com/

He's currently living in Bali and I was with him for a few months living in the Philippines while we were working on a few internet businesses. Our days were seriously like this - wake up, drive our motor scooters to this awesome breakfast place, have breakfast looking at the ocean, go to the office work on our business for about 6 hours - done by 3pm, walk out our front door, surf for 3-4 hours, go get cleaned up and hit a restaurant/club for the evening, rinse and repeat. Living out of a suitcase, no bills, no stress, no fighting traffic, no 9-5 bull****, no boss, no screaming kids. I'm heading to Bali in Feb for 2 months & plan on doing the same. The house we were renting was 2 bedroom with a pool for about $600 per month.

Don't tell people they don't have depression. If someone thinks they have depression they probably do. The worst thing you can do for a person like that is tell them they don't. Depressed people need treatment. You might as well be telling him not to get a lump or mysterious mole checked out.

Don't get that lump checked out. It's not malignant. Here. Click this link and make millions on the internet instead.

If you are using cigarettes or p*rnography compulsively, you might have a touch of hypomania. Those compulsive behaviors are markers for it. You might not, but you might.

If you think you are depressed, you are depressed.

See a therapist. Make the appointment today. It takes a long time and a lot of work to start feeling better. Don't put it off.

Also, moving or traveling will almost definitely not help. Trust me. I spent four years doing it. Wherever you go, you will find that you are still there.

The guy said he wants to move a travel. He's depressed because he's stuck at his parents house with no freedom. The link I gave him will open up his world and make him happy. I recommended something similar to macalu awhile back and it worked, so don't give me that **** like you are some kind of doctor. Most people get depressed due to their circumstances. Others truly have a chemical imbalance and they need help. You were clearly in the latter, I think this guy is the former and my advice will help him.

Nothing against you but you don't know what you're talking about and I hope the guy doesn't take your bad advice.

First you chastise him for giving out helpful advice. No... first you link to a virus-plagued website.. now you're being a hypocrite. You're not a doctor either man.

GTFO. That is a very popular authority website for people who want to live and work from tropical places. It has 20,000 subscribers and the most popular lifestyle podcast on iTunes. It's not a spam website and it doesn't have any viruses on it. Your computer must have something bro. I ****ING GUARANTEE YOU NOBODY ELSE WHO CLICKED THAT LINK EXPERIENCED WHAT YOU JUST DESCRIBED.

I'm trying to help the guy and help people get out of their 9-5 ruts in life and all you do is bash me for it. The same way people did when I recommended a book to Macalu and now he's recommending the same book to people in other threads. The guy I gave the advice to gave me positive rep and thanked me for it now what the **** is your problem???

I'm not a doctor, but I help people who want to escape the 9-5 and in his post he simply mentioned that he wanted to get out of his parents house and travel. Creating internet businesses is easy and the website I recommended for him and the podcast that goes with it is a great place to start. He also gave me positive rep and thanked me for posting it. What the hell is wrong with you people?

Please elaborate on why you think its a bad idea for someone to create a successful internet business, travel the world & work from their laptop from tropical locations. Like Tim Ferris in the 4 hour workweek. Please, I beg you to elaborate why that is bad advice for someone looking for freedom and a different lifestyle. I'm not flaming, I just want to hear your explanation on why it's bad advice. I'm all ears.
