2012 NBA FINALS - Heat vs. Thunder

Last shot by Durant was a clear foul on James, not called. That's is a shame that a blown call decided the game. Anyway, as much as I hate to admit it the Heat played like a champion. May be the best game I have seen them play.

 

When Wade lost that ball at halfcourt, fisher bodychecked him. It was like a football play.

This. No one is mentioning how Battier moved after he was set because Durant was going to go around him.

 

You really think that one questionable call at the end decided a game that the Miami Heat led from wire to wire? In that case, the bodycheck by Fisher on Wade decided the game or the bogus blocking foul by Battier decided the game. Miami won this and they deserved it. Played like champs and Lebron was perfect from the free throw line which is rare.

Why? Because Miami was up 18-2? Put the kids to bed, this series is tied. And could easily be 2-0 Miami. They had a big lead in Game 1 too.

 

Stop crying. It's the ******* NBA Finals. You don't lose a game on one call esp when you know damn well that there were missed calls on both sides.

Well let's just see how OKC will respond. Miami clearly showed a big change in their game tonight, especially with the way they are passing and shooting.

Much as i want OKC to win, they really have to acknowledge Miami's adjustments.

 

If you argue that refs don't make that call late in games... then okay, that's a valid opinion.

If you say, like several have posted, that that wasn't a foul on LeBron, or that it was a foul on KD, then you're an idiot.

I felt it was their best close-out performance but nah, they still aren't playing great.

 

That call was technically not a charge when we saw it in slow motion. Durant already left the floor when Shane slid in place. However, that play would have been called charge 9 out of 10 times, especially for Battier. It was a superstar call to keep Durant from fouling out. I agree with JVG. It should have been a no call.

And LeBron did foul Durant on the last play. But Durant should have still made the shot.

 

When the final play of the game, that would decide the outcome is blown, it certainly affects the outcome of the game.

 

Despite what people think, Durant rarely hits game winning shots. He misses most of them.

Scotty Brooks should probably not have called a time out and just let them play, beacuse I think it would help durant.

 

I don't deny it. But Miami played great and deserved to win. Props to everybody's favorite whipping boy Spoelstra. I liked his unique starting lineup and the insistence Miami play to their strengths. His creativity was a big factor. Another whipping boy, Shane Battier, was money. The Heat wouldn't have won without him. The third whipping boy, Chris Bosh, as also huge.

Props to Miami. I hate the game-yap, conspiracy, constant woe-is-me natter about the refs and got tired of it here, but that last blown call made me wince. If it was the other way around, I'd say the exact same thing.
