Thunder storyline is just too good now. I don't think it could be any better. Taking down the 3 best west teams of the recent decade in the Mavs, Lakers, and Spurs to show the world they are the best of the west. Now the only team in their way to winning the championshipe are the "nba villains" (Heat).

    Thunder in 6.

A Lebron James-led team will not get swept.

If he beats the Thunder, this will make up for his choke job last year b/c the Heat will be the underdogs this year.

James Harden is a HUGE factor for OKC. The guy brings it and gets to the line like no other. Post defense with Perkins/Ibaka(shot blocking) will be stellar. Sefolosha is an amazing defender and will do what he does against LBJ/Wade. Durant will be Durant, seems like the guy doesn't miss. Westbrook in control will be key, but his midrange game is lethal. Fisher etc... off the bench bring value as well.

On the flip side you have LBJ, and he'll show up for sure. Wade CANNOT have these crappy first halves and try to show up later. OKC is just too damn good for that to happen. Bosh I'm not sure what he's gonna bring. Will he camp and HIT those 3's? Not sure. Miami's depth isn't as good as the Thunder's.

    OKC in 5/6

I think they want to minimize the home court advantage.

2-3-2 is because of different conferences and different timezones

Back in the day, when the finals were 2-2-1-1-1, LA and Boston were playing almost every year and it was too much travel

Give me a hard-fought Game 7. I'm going with Miami but I don't mind Oklahoma winning.

Wade might be able to contain Harden.

They need to do away with it. Travel has sorta improved these days.

OKC is known to be a jump-shooting team, but when they penetrate, Westbrook has the explosive first step, and Harden has that Euro-step.

This is another factor in which Miami is weak to OKC; OKC has Ibaka and Perkins to stop penetration, but Anthony and Bosh just aren't going to be defensively effective.

Westbrook is better than an injured Wade. Bosh had his 1 good game. Miami has no answer for Harden.

The only way the heat can win is if Lebron dominates on both ends. He has to score AND shut down Durant. Basically do what Jordan did to Drexler back in the day.

Can't judge active players until their careers are done with. Hindsight bias will make everything much more objective.

Didn't the Spurs sweep the Cavs in 2006 Finals?

Hoping for a game 7 in which Lebron and Durant provide the greatest duel between small forwards since Bird vs. Wilkins.
