Day of 1 of Summer League was a lot more packed than last time they had it in 2010. Ticket prices seem to have gone up over the years too...from $20 to $22 to $28, but it was good meeting up with fellow ClutchFans Yoyo, Dave2000, Carl Herrera, heypartner, rocketgirl, KDavis?, and RickSmith. Clutch was there, but I didn't get a chance to say hi to him. Morey came up to Yoyo and said hi. I thought that was pretty cool. Other random observations: I don't want any of the rookies traded, especially for a guy who doesn't want to be here; Marcus Morris played poorly...I wouldn't mind if he and PP were traded; I won't get into details, but there was probably a good reason Royce White, other than his passing, didn't play well; Not impressed with Machado; Terrence Ross looks like a nice player; MKG looks legit; and Biyombo has ridiculously long arms and a motor that never quits. Sorry for the crappy pictures, but I was exhausted from the night before. I stopped taking pictures after the first game so no Rockets' pics, but I'll try to take some from the team tomorrow. A few random Qs after Day 1 Vegas: Would Lamb be willing to play the point? Could he? Ditto Royce White? Any package we could put together to get Austin Daye from Detroit? Wouldn't a lineup of Lamb, Daye, Parsons, Jones, and Motijunas be sweet? Athletic shooters all over the floor, mmmm-mmmm baby!
I'm rooting for our players to continue killing it in Vegas as it would only increase their trade value. Especially Morris.

James White on the Knicks ha. Looks like Clyde calling the Knicks Summerleague game, best color guy in the NBA! With that said I look forward to Beal vs Lamb tonight. Kinda hope they start Lamb tonight just because.

I should clarify. Walt Clyde Frazier calling the game. Not Drexler...Drexler is still one of the worst color guys in the NBA
Man I hope we keep these guys, build around the 3 rookies + Parsons & Donatas. I think they could really surprise some people in the league and give us a good starting block to hopefully add a star next year to come in and lead the way.
