The Houston Dynamo are also 4 points behind the San Jose Earthquakes for the best overall record in the MLS.
let's go dynamo! if any of you are in the katy area go see my friends at bolli brothers pizza 2944 S. Mason Rd. they are big dynamo supporters,
i didnt see much difference in the way the dynamo played from last game to this game, mac kandji is inconsistent and we know that, red bulls came with everything they had, they did not want to be embarrassed two weeks in a row
I was scared ****less last night at the game. Good thing Columbus' keeper did a Robert Green impersonation.
There's actually a story on MLSSoccer.com today about how Moffat and the Columbus goalkeeper Gruenebaum are good friends. Before last night's game, Moffat told him that at some point in the game he was going to hit a bomb at him. Turns out he did and Gruenebaum couldn't handle it. Overall, though, a disappointing draw. The Dynamo are the better team, but the Crew came in and played well on the road.
Tonight, the CONCACAF Champions League starts for the Dynamo. They are playing against Club Deportivo FAS in El Salvador. I believe they will be links on the First Row Sports website.
Halftime: Dynamo 2-0 C.D. FAS They are looking to run up the score to get a better goal differential.
Did the FAS want to play at all?!?!?!? It seemed they weren't even marking up on the set pieces and the corners and those FREE headers by our dudes. THREE headers for goals? You have to make adjustments... obviously, they didn't at half time and WHAM-O, another header. Yes, I know SalvadoreƱos are short, but you could at least bother our aerial attack by marking us. Sheesh. It looked too mother effin' easy to get a header last night.
It looked like my high school's drill for headers : <iframe width="480" height="270" frameborder="0" marginwidth="0" marginheight='0' scrolling="no" src="http://hub.video.msn.com/embed/74dd8948-338f-4c30-9751-36435600ecd6/?vars=YnJhbmQ9djUlNUU1NDR4MzA2JmxpbmtvdmVycmlkZTI9aHR0cCUzQSUyRiUyRnd3dy5iaW5nLmNvbSUyRnZpZGVvcyUyRmJyb3dzZSUzRm1rdCUzRGVuLXVzJTI2dmlkJTNEJTdCMCU3RCUyNmZyb20lM0QmY29uZmlnTmFtZT1zeW5kaWNhdGlvbnBsYXllciZta3Q9ZW4tdXMmbGlua2JhY2s9aHR0cCUzQSUyRiUyRnd3dy5iaW5nLmNvbSUyRnZpZGVvcyUyRmJyb3dzZSZjb25maWdDc2lkPU1TTlZpZGVvJmZyPXNoYXJlZW1iZWQtc3luZGljYXRpb24mc3luZGljYXRpb249dGFn"> <A href="http://www.bing.com/videos/browse?mkt=en-us&vid=74dd8948-338f-4c30-9751-36435600ecd6&from=shareembed-syndication&src=v5:embed:syndication:&from=dest_en-us" target="_new" title="FAS vs. Houston Dynamo CONCACAF Champions League Highlights 08/22/12">Video: FAS vs. Houston Dynamo CONCACAF Champions League Highlights 08/22/12</A> </iframe> EDIT: ^ What the eff? You knew going in that the Dynamo were going to try to make it an aerial game given that FAS lacks taller players and Kinnear was going to rest he guys that make the 4-3-3 move anyway. But I had no idea that it was going to be that easy to get goals in the air. I didn't want all of the game, but in the little bit I did watch, FAS just didn't look engaged at all.
