When Bruin scored two goals including one that tied the game, I thought the Dynamo would pull a "Man City" and they almost did. Still undefeated in BBVA.
what sort of compensation is given in situations like this? just a payout to the team? i know we lost stuart holden a couple of years ago, and i don't recall what the return was.
Holden was out of contract so we didn't get anything. If Cameron is sold then the team will get a cut of the money and the league will keep some. The percentages depend on how long the player has been with the team, and I'm not sure what range Cameron falls into.
I've also heard him linked to Everton and Schalke 04 of the Bundesliga. But Stoke is supposedly the favorite at this point.
Article from MLSSoccer.com ahead of tonight's game against Montreal. hhttp://www.mlssoccer.com/news/article/2012/06/22/impact-expect-special-welcome-brief-teammate-ching I don't really buy that Ching is going to get a particularly rude welcome from the Montreal players and fans. Montreal head coach Jesse Marsch admits that Ching was nothing but professional through the whole ordeal, so I don't know why the players would have any ill will toward him. Fans do tend to hang on to these types of things longer, of course, but the Ching situation was so long ago and I'd be surprised if that drama was that big of a deal there. We were upset about it because he has been the face of the franchise from the beginning. It's also not like the Impact missed out on having a Best XI-type forward. Ching hasn't had a great start to the season and barring a torrid finish, this will be his last season.
Maybe the positioning of the cameras is somewhat deceiving and the top levels are packed, but it appears that it's a pretty poor showing at Saputo Stadium in Montreal. This is only the team's second (third?) game in their new stadium and there are huge chunks of empty seats in the lower level that the camera keeps showing on the Impact's attacking end.
