Yeah, he might have something to do.

Seriously though, it goes by policy, so it's not too accurate. It had Paul over Huntsman for me, but I'd vote for Huntsman over Paul because I think Huntsman is the better person to lead this country.

Latest PPP Poll is terrible news for Gingrich:

    Paul 23 Romney 20 Gingrich 14

He has dropped like a stone in Iowa. This is looking more and more like a two man race between Paul and Romney...

Paul can't get above 15% nationally, and Romney can't break 25ish. If you add up Gingrich/Santorum/Perry/Bachmann, you still have 40-50% of the vote and that's the tea party vote, basically. The question is where they are all going to go as some of those candidates drop out after Iowa and NH. They all float back and forth, but none of their vote has gone to Romney or Paul yet.

They will eventually go with Romney as Newt's tired go flat. We all know Paul has no chance at all.

The polls disagree with you. New Iowa Insider Poll:

    Paul 24 Romney 18 Perry 16

Paul is also 2nd in New Hampshire (PPP Poll):

    Romney 35 Paul 19 Gingrich 17

There is a decent chance Paul may become the new 'Anti-Romney' if he wins Iowa and then gets second in New Hampshire. I wouldn't dismiss him so easily....

Paul has to many non-GOP views to really flourish as the non-Romney. If he ever became a serious candidate that anyone was afraid of, he'd be obliterated faster than Newt.

There is another New Hampshire Poll just posted by the American Research Group:

    Romney 35 Paul 21 Gingrich 13

A win Iowa for Paul and a very strong showing for 2nd in Paul could catapult his campaign. People may believe that he is electable and look into voting for him. Like I said before, don't count him out yet...

The only thing that makes Ron Paul "special" is that he dresses like Ralph Nadir.
