The voters seem to keep ignoring him too, based on the results we've seen.

Too bad Ron Paul doesn't draw half the voters the others do.

If people like Ron Paul have been running the country from the beginning, this country would still be some back water third wold country today.

    Apparently, crowds don't vote.

    Interesting article.

    Excerpt:
"Decent human beings would just accept this under the rule of "live and let live." The verbal carpet-bombers in the Ron Paul movement consist of some intolerant zealots who will harass, bully, and intimidate anybody just for thinking differently. The Paul army would work well in Bashar Assad's Syria, Kim Jong Il's North Korea, or Saddam Hussein's Iraq. The same hypocrites who are against undeclared wars engage in undeclared wars against their fellow Americans just for not worshipping Ron Paul. It makes the David Koresh movement look moderate."

    Another interesting article.

    Excerpt:
“I’m waiting until the real thing to make a decision,” Stolz said, referring to the November elections, adding that he would vote for Paul then if he made a third-party run. “The two-party system has collapsed. Paul is better than that.”

That, in essence, has been the Ron Paul story this campaign season: enthusiastic crowds who love Paul’s fierce independence but fail to carry him to victory at the polls. After running in 30 states and gaining a scant 50 delegates, according to the Associated Press, Paul has learned a hard lesson: Crowds don’t vote."

Comparing Paul supporters to Thugs that work for dictators? That is a bit of a radical suggestion....

Paul was never running to be President. He was starting a movement within the Republican party. Some two dozens Ron Paul people are running for office right now:

Make no mistake about it - this will be Ron Paul's legacy and is the story of Ron Paul's 2012 campaign...

The fact that they are running or the fact that none of them will win?

Ron Paul will fade into history like Ralph Nader and Ross Perot.

Have you heard of Justin Amash? He won in 2010 and is a Ron Paul clone.

And I know that is very likely that Thomas Massie wins in Kentucky. [the guy has great story - if you have time you should look it up]

So I am not sure what makes you so sure none of them wins. It must be ignorance...

Not entirely. His ideas on the Fed will influence the Republican party for years to come:

Of course. The Fed is an abomination which enriches Wall-street at the expense of the middle class, poor, and people on fixed incomes. Furthermore, they act as a lender of last resort. Hence, the big banks know that they can engage in risky trading practices since the Fed will always be there to bail them out...

If that's the case, his supporters should stop complaining about the fact that no one is covering him. The coverage is for the GOP nomination - and if that's not his goal, the media is 100% right to not bother covering him.

....and Herman Cain was running a book tour and for a possible contract with Fox. And Jon Huntsman was running to be Romney's Secretary of State...

Yes, and Cain only got coverage when he suddenly was leading in the polls, and Huntsman never got any significant coverage. What's your point?

They both got more than Paul.

Also, Cain got a ton of coverage when he won one straw poll. Whenever Paul won a straw poll, it was "does it really mean anything?".

Here is a good 12 minute preview of the New Hampshire primary on CBS. Most people expected Ron Paul to get 2nd (maybe 3rd). Not one mention of Ron Paul....

Cain got ZERO coverage until he, out of nowhere, both won a major straw poll and immediately shot up to the lead in the national polls. Santorum, similarly, got no coverage until he actually won Iowa. Ron Paul got no coverage for any of his straw poll wins because everyone knows that it never translates to anything more for him. And, apparently, because he wasn't trying to win the nomination.

Yes, that's because that was his ceiling. He was never remotely a possibility for winning the whole thing. According to you, that's because he wasn't even trying.

He shot up in the polls because Fox decided to make a big deal out of his straw poll victory...

Where were you in the week leading up to Iowa?...

    Talk about a self-fulfilling prophecy...

Really?? They talked about every other candidate. THEY EVEN MENTIONED RICK PERRY (who was absolutely dead). And at 11:00 they talk about how many points Romney is going to win the state by and don't bother to mention the guy he will be beating. They literally found every topic imaginable to talk about except Paul...
