Big marquee match ups this week are in the SEC and Big 12 with South Carolina and Florida, and also WVU and Kansas St. LSU and Texas A&M could be interesting as well as Texas Tech and TCU. I'll join the parade that says ABC showing Baylor/UT at 6:00pm and LSU/A&M at 11:30am is just plain dumb. Like everyone else, I'll watch K-State/WV instead.
These gametimes are decided 10 days in advance, right? If so, then WVU was undefeated at the time, and Texas only had 1 loss. Both LSU & A&M had 1 loss at that point. Besides, is the ABC Primetime game ever an SEC game? I always thought the ABC games were Big10/Big12/Pac10/ACC games because CBS always gets first option on the best SEC game.
Sorry, that came out completely confused. KSU-WVU (two undefeateds) and BU-UT (two one-loss teams) would have been the two options when looking at it 10 days ago, and would have been the primetime games for ABC and FOX (in whatever order). LSU-A&M, as an SEC game, wouldn't be on ABC primetime coverage, I wouldn't think.
Actually, CBS used the 6-day window on the SEC games so ESPN had the option of putting A&M-LSU in the evening or morning slot after all the games ended last week.
Anyone else see Mariota's run just now? I'd like to see him race RG3 to see who the fastest QB in football is.
#6 LSU @ #18 Texas A&M - 11 AM CST - ESPN #17 Texas Tech @ #23 TCU - 2:30 PM CST - ABC/ESPN2 the 2 games I really want to watch tomorrow.
Stick a fork in VaTech. Clemson looking good. They should be 10-1 going into the South Carolina game.
The offense wasted a good performance from the defense today. Only a matter of time before Clemson scored. Of course the refs walked Clemson to the endzone on the Ellington TD drive.
Block in the back in the end zone for a safety puts Purdue up 22-14 with Braxton Miller knocked out of the game. The Horseshoe is quiet. Miracles still happen.
